I have set up a gofundme for Joe, if anyone is interested in helping hime out. gofund.me/a806e4d6 Update: 02-22-23 - The Sheriff removed Joe from the property about two weeks ago. He had been building a new camp in preparation for the eviction, but the sheriff saw it because it was too close to the old spot and had it destroyed. Joe has found another spot to lay his head for the time being, but it is nowhere near the level of comfort he had in the box truck. Update: 11-5-22 - Joe received his court date, which is about 2 weeks from now. He has started putting together a new spot if he has to move, but isn't certain exactly where he will go at this point. I will update again when I hear what happens at the court appearance.

He's bothering the land that isn't his. If this was his own land, that would be one thing, but it isn't. He has no legal right to be where he is, and never did. Taking / using land that isn't yours is something that doesn't sit well with this Native, nor many of us. We saw long ago what happens when you let people just take what they want and stay wherever they want. It never ends well for those who have the actual rights / ownership / stewardship of the land.

“If there is a poor man with you, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not harden your heart, nor close your hand from your poor brother; but you shall freely open your hand to him, and shall generously lend him sufficient for his need in whatever he lacks. Beware that there is no base thought in your heart, saying, ‘The seventh year, the year of remission, is near,’ and your eye is hostile toward your poor brother, and you give him nothing; then he may cry to the LORD against you, and it will be a sin in you. You shall generously give to him, and your heart shall not be grieved when you give to him, because for this thing the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in all your undertakings. For the poor will never cease to be in the land; therefore I command you, saying, ‘You shall freely open your hand to your brother, to your needy and poor in your land.’

I use to see this man everyday on Main St. This man here is an extremely polite person that was delt a deck of cards that most of us couldn't imagine being delt. We all have stories and absolutely none of us are even close to perfect, Life has its way of showing every single person a "different" type of reality, in the end we are all of the same energy and all of us want the same thing. A peace of Mind and Spirit, A place we can call Home. At the end of the day that's what we have Family, Friends, A Purpose, And A Home. This man is harmless to "that particular" community and has been living there for a very long time. I say leave this man Be, literally all of us can always use/need another ones hand to lift us and help us deal the "cards" WE have been delt in this beautiful thing we call Life. God Bless anyone reading this, Enjoy Life and Be Kind to Ourselves. ✌🏾

Hi this is the first time I've seen a video from this channel and I'm very impressed I've been on the streets here in Denver since 2015 voluntarily because I choose to be a drug addict and I choose not to better myself I guess doesn't make me a bad person I work for my money I don't like to beg people then I don't like handouts however I will humble myself and accept help a lot of times and it's just nice to see someone shedding light on the homeless situation from a different angle and showing that you know we're human too and we're not all bad people that are out here anyway shout out good video keep it up and thank you

This just shows that the authorities and others do not give a damn about people who are down in their luck. The snobs don't want a homeless man anywhere near them because they think he is bad. It's as if he doesn't have the right to live or exist. I hope Karma wakens those people up to the real world. Joe is just trying to survive and does no harm. Leave the man alone! for God's sake.
