This was TOTALLY me!! I put it off for so long because I was so afraid of what people would think like "who does she think she is"? But then I heard another content creator say that she was never really bothered with those opinions because the people who had negative things to say were the ones that would always be too afraid to put themselves out there and I thought that was so powerful! Now I wish I had let go of that fear so much sooner, so if you're considering.. JUST DO IT! What's the worst that could happen? :)

@@allthingsself haha hey, I totally felt that way for a while too 🫣😂 but really.. the WORST thing that happens is maybe few people judge you and have something to say about you feel a little embarrassed for a while (chances are they are still giving you views though 👀) and in three months if you decide it wasn’t worth it, they aren’t even going to REMEMBER and everyone will move on. But I think you’d be surprised how many people WANT to support you and just like Erin said… you have no idea what you’re missing out on by not starting!

It hit me last night that if i had been more consistent at any point within my first three years of starting KZbin I’ve would’ve been 4 to 7 years into having built my KZbin channel by now. Great message. YUP! Analysis Paralysis! I finally punched fear in the face and hit record. I was always making excuses and looking for the perfect moment every time. The perfect environment, the perfect lighting, the perfect budget, I didn't like the way I looked on camera, I didn't like how I sounded, etc., etc., etc. I finally started my KZbin Channel. This really hit home for me. I started my channel a while ago and have not been consistent. Every year I proclaim that I'm going to do it despite the fear of who's going to watch, my channel won't grow, nobody wants to see me, etc. I have no excuse. I been wanting to be fit and lose weight and wasn’t showing up as the woman that is committed to weight loss. I was hating myself and putting myself last. And took the initiative to meal prep and put in containers and track calories and I had bought treadmill and stationary bike and wasn’t taking advantage of having them I started committing to 20 min a day working out. And doing skincare and putting out clothes night before and nightly showers. Eventually I want to do videos for TikTok or reels or KZbin. And back to acting lessons. Starting is the hardest part and keeping it up is the easy part. Thank you for this video. I logged on to your channel tonight just to see what you’ve been up to and I needed to hear this… I am older and the time limitations in my life are no longer due to a job and three teenagers. It’s due to medical issues and family responsibilities now that I’m a grandma and I have an older mother and, my big fear is that I’m going to get started and like my norm is to have to deal with something for like a week and then sometimes the second week so I’m afraid that if I get started and then I have to stop for a couple weeks it’s going to throw everything off. But all of you guys keep saying just start. I just don’t want put all the time Getting started and have to take a mandatory two or three weeks off and then lose whatever momentum, but it sounds like if I don’t start, I’ll never know? The amount of time, energy, and consistency it takes to manage a KZbin channel is bananas. However, I want to post videos consistently but can't find the right time. I am making progress; I am just taking it little by little.

Oh yeah, I can relate. Juggling family, job responsibilities with a KZbin channel is not easy. To stay consistent and film content, I set up a schedule like using 1 Saturday to film 3 videos back to back, so throughout the week, I can just edit and post, create shorts and reels ( KZbin & Instagram) from it and rest the following weekend. It has worked so far. You can do it 👍🏽

Even though my videos still aren’t as good as I would like them to be, just getting started felt so good and I hope will help me eventually learn how to make higher quality videos like you do. I had a breakthrough fall of last year and I think that anxiety about how to continue advancing is becoming a hindrance. This year I want to do what I want in the exact moment I feel like doing it, no forgetting or hesitation. Producing, song writing, dancing, photography, makeup, fashion, drawing and videography are not only my passions but they are largely therapeutic. Originally I didn't feel like I was juggling it was fun, I think societal pressure to do just one thing and stick with it weighed my down. This video kept catching my eye as I was scrolling and I know it is a sign to throw caution into the wind. (hopefully I am not oversharing)
