Thanks for all the detail - it must be more difficult driving the model than the real thing, which after all makes most of the noises without having to press a button! Great video.
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
Tis a good point, i suppose there is quite a lot of buttons to remember! Thats why i only use Loksound in all of my trains - so that i can alter the layout of the functions so every loco/train has things like whistles/door functions ect always on the same buttons. Makes it a lot easier
@CustomiZe_2 жыл бұрын
@@UndergroundEric yeah i was wondering that, is there a way you can just get it to play through a sequence of the sounds in the order you want with 1 button or do you have to press all the different buttons individually to activate the sounds in order.
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
@@CustomiZe_ what sort of sequence would you want? You could do it but it would have to be done in the actual sound file itself rather than just in the settings
@CustomiZe_2 жыл бұрын
@@UndergroundEric ah right i see, I was just interested if the sequence you played towards the end of the video of it leaving the station was able to be played just by pressing 1 button rather than 5+.buttons. I mean I wouldn't be able to anything like that anyway, it all seemed far too confusing to me it just seemed like numbers and letters to me lol 😆

Hi Eric, can you tell me how you change individual sound volumes on your tube decoder please. Cheers Chris
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
Hey chris, id have to find out what the CVs are for each individual sound slot, although it should be standard across loksound v5 decoders so if you have a search for the esu V5 manual youll be able to find the cvs for the sound slots there as im not at my computer atm

I am in the process of converting a non-motorised EFE 38TS, and wonder if the V5 Loksound could be made available as a wired decoder instead of the Plux22? Thanks and really good work!
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
Hey Nigel, yeah if you order a wired loksound v5 micro (easier to hide than standard) the file can be used it just needs the motor settings tweaked :)

@@UndergroundEric I would be running a 6 car unit with two Tenshodo coreless bogies at each end, in the DMs. I'm assuming you can tweek the momentum, damping etc., as with most Lok decoders.

I ordered this model without DCC chips hoping to see how others go about fitting sound and extra lights. Do you think it is possible to fit one sound decoder and one non-sound decoder and still get the motors synchronised? Two sound decoders are a painful hit on the wallet!
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
Yes it is possible, funnily enough i spent last night getting it to work on a bachmann s stock! Only trouble is a bit of a shortage of lokpilot V5s in Plux22 at the mo supposedly

The sounds are really good, however, each time the train starts to move there is a sort of squeak sound which I don’t recognise from travelling on the real thing in the past. That noise would put me off buying the sound chips. Otherwise everything else is sounding great. Chris
@UndergroundEric2 жыл бұрын
The little squeal you hear is the train moving away just as the brakes are still releasing, so you get a little chirp from the brake blocks.
@Hazel5842 жыл бұрын
