Kalo lomba pidato itu, kita harus memperhatikan banyak aspek: 1. Body of speech. Intro - initiation - core - conclusion - closing. 2. Stage act. Knowledge of audience, interaction, feedback 3. Construction of material. How the speaker build the material based on theme, and how he elaborate the theme 4. Extra .

If he has australian accent ya mungkin sah sah aja, tapi kalau dia british accent lumayan banyak yang harus di koreksi, 1. Dia ttp baca R padahal setelah R huruf focal, contoh "for us" dia bacanya "fo' us" padahal harus disambung, sama kayak"for everyone" juga 2. Dia masih baca T sebagai D wich is itu american, krana di british T utu ditekan jadi bacanya kayak "tst", contoh pas dia bilang "whaD i want Do...." its completely american, harus nya dibaca "whaT i want To" atau pun bisa pake glottal T soa dibaca "wha' i want to", terus sama kayak pas di bilang "thaD i...." harusnya dibaca "thaT i...", 3. Ada beberapa kata yang masih pake american contohnya pas dia bilang "dænce" so itu american, kalo british harusnya "dAnce" agak bulat pengucapan A nya terus pas bilang "title" dia bilang "tiDle" yang harusnya "tiTle", tapi selebihnya keren saya paling suka pas dia bilang "Today" so itu britih banget dan "about", so ini cuma tanggapan dan saran dari saya.

MY THOUGHTS ON WHO DESERVE 1ST PLACE: Almost every ppl in this comment section measuring this competition winner by how they pronounce, what accent are they using, how is the grammar, etc. But personally for me it's all about the content, yes, the girl that won the 2nd place also brought up an incredible speech with engaging content with society lifes. But this boy brings up contents that's more relatable and more (in my oppinion) realistic on how to view "a book that change their life". You see, it's all about how you want to try to fell in love without being forced to. That girl giving her P.O.V as somebody who used to read books, and it is easy for those who like books to find what they like, what genre they enjoy, and what engage their life. But this boy talking facing the statusquo which is ppl tend to antagonized those books even before recognizing the plus point of those book in order to get this knowledge, to work on with the evolution. In my oppinion, he deserve to be the 1st.
