StreetLights but they sound like shit because he runs them straight to the PA system. He doesn't use the actual speakers that are built with the amp.

I reckon ever since the "pursuit of tone" doc they did with tom, and since he did play the mesa most of the time in the doc, he probably thought that it sounds a lot better!

At 0:10, by enhancing the footage we can clearly see in the reflection of Tom's ring that there are indeed green alien figures standing and watching their technology. Be careful guys, they won't be happy if those strings break.

No Name Ehh the guitar riffs are much better in the deluxe edition. They were too blocked out in California. There's actually some cool riffs in the album but the horrible producing makes them really quiet

jazzblaster hes trying to say that it has riffs, but they're buried so far down in the mix by feldmann that you can't hear them unless you're listening for them specifically. Like the chorus in bored to death has a cool one

@@SonikJesus sorry for such a late follow up, but I just listened to btd again and found there to be an octave riff that's pretty cool and a very anthem pt. 2 like riff absolutely buried in the mix and with the 3 guitar parts it sounds pretty damn cool. Think I'm lost without you with drums

Josh Watney they sound really good when they're brand new but don't last very long if you play a lot I always get XL strings and have no problems with those but that's just my opinion

He should’ve stuck with that tone especially with blink. The ac30/fender didn’t sound good especially since he played it through the preamp into the pa essentially. He really tried too hard to recreate himself and his image. Nothing wrong with that he just really destroyed his tone
