Күн бұрын

We're always excited to have innovative rock bands in the Ernie Ball showroom, testing out new products and giving us our thoughts and Cage The Elephant fit that mold easily.
Coming in hot off the heels of the release of their record Melophobia, Cage The Elephant performed their latest single, "Come A Little Closer," showed us how to play some of it, the story behind the tune and the band's musical inspirations.
Check out the performance and see more from artists like Anthony Green, Silversun Pickups, Dirty Heads, Into It. Over It, Surfer Blood and more.

I met this dude in Charlottesville VA and spoke to him backstage after one of his show's by himself and asked him rather challenged him "Dude you got all these girls screaming for you how are you not owning that and getting that?" He simply said and responded by saying " I got a girl back home." And the way he countered me in my drunkin state with a stare and a level of seriousness I sobered up quickly and changed the subject. I won't forget that moment because it reminded me of what is ment by sincerity and integrity something that I feel has been missing in artists.

A lot of leads who just sing who come up with material know how to play well enough to make out the sound in their head they are after. By no means are they better then the guitarist in the band but they are good enough for the basics.

I got to hang out and play golf with the band before a show in Little Rock Arkansas for half a day and I have to say these guys are soooo down to earth. This was when they had original guitarist. I was in high school and they were my favorite band so a total dream come true. They even brought us on the stage when the show was over and we just happened to meet them before the show. Still have the drink the drummer gave me, my mom begs me to throw it away lol.

Cristiano Keenan Salgado Filho SN as far as sound and enjoyment I’d agree. But as far as influencing and making a mark in musical history you couldn’t be farther from the truth.

Just saw CTE at the Xfinity Center as part of The Night Running Tour 2019. Matt was so gracious with the audience. Towards the end he walked into the audience right to my row and I was able to rub his back. He seems to truly like connecting with his fans lol.

I was so lucky! I was not in the front section. I was about half way back between stage and last row! Matt came right to my seat!!!! Totally gracious, really appreciates the fans.
