Absolutely the First Time Ever hearing this Eb concerto! One thing I really enjoy is that this concerto make use of this soprano trumpet's high register which I think is Brilliant and very attractive; unlike the Hummel and Hyden pieces. I most definitely will make this one of my go-to trumpet videos! Bravo indeed*

Markus Wuersch/Worsch? has chosen a work unique in that it was written by a renowned pedagogue of he trumpet & player for his own instrument. A transposed version is also available for those of us who are less capable than maestro M. W. The enduring worth of the concertino speaks...or rather sounds for itself.

SW Storm Chaser, the horn that Markus Wuersch is playing in this video is an E-flat trumpet. Don Schneider correctly noted above that it is an E3L model, which is made by a Schilke, noted horn maker in the Chicago area.
