This message can happen if Instagram is having a problem on their end. if so there's nothing you can do but wait. However, you can also get this message if your system is having a problem. If so I recommend clearing the cache for the app. Lastly, having a weak wifi signal can also give this error so switching to another wifi network or data should help.

I switched accounts too fast, you wait 24 hours then do not log out etc. wait a few weeks and it should be back to normal.
