Great review, Sam! Thanks for posting and for all your kind words for Eruption. I have one minor point of clarification to add: when a player places a lava tile next to a village, he draws an Action Card for each lava flow that enters the village. So, in the video when the "Y" tile is placed next to the red village, one card would be drawn.

The play thrus are nice. Seeing what the cards are and how they are used really changed my idea of how the game is played. It now seems more like a game I would like to have to play with non-gamers.

Good job Sam. I'm a big fan of this game too. My group plays super light games (Werewolf, Love Letter) or real heavy games (Tzolkin, Panamax). I prefer the medium-light to Medium heavy games (Alien Frontiers, Coal Baron). I think I will start bring more medium games and push harder to get them played. One house rule we do use for this is that you can not play more than one rain card per turn. It removes the big last round swing that can happen if one person randomly gets both rain cards.

I tracked this down in a BGG auction last year. The family likes it. Easy to teach to everyone it seems and pretty fun.

Great review Sam - you had this in your top 10 underrated games and I would like to thank you for bringing it to my attention ... Already ordered it after your clear explanations . Keep up the good work

It might be your second, but it's my first Sam-awesomeness I get to watch. I've been curious about this game for a while thanks to you. I think I'll need to see if it's available on the old continent. Excellent review, bub!

Great review Sam. I remember when you mentioned this in one of the older Top 10's and always interested me. I'm really happy with the length of the videos too and dont really care how long they are. :-)

How about reviewing Quicksand? I've heard you guys mention it many times but I can't find a single review of it on KZbin. Would love to see how it plays!

Thanks for the review Sam! I've heard you talk about this game in the top ten lists and it always sounded very appealing. I think it would be great to play with my family. Unfortunately to get this game in Canada it costs about $65 - $100 .. yikes! That's a bit steep.

Nice review, and one of the best rules explanations I've seen on the Dice Tower, but you really need to sort out your sound. Too variable. Still, good work, I look forward to you reviewing some more games (preferably some older games???)

Good work Sam! Keep hitting Zee. Not because I don't like Zee, it's just the only classy stunt work on any board game show I know of.

It's nice to see your reviews. I have to second others, that you need to tune your mic, sound is too low. And, you should condense your reviews a bit. I see that some like a detailed playthrough, and it was interesting to watch, but can quickly get tiresome. I'm used to less than 10 minutes reviews for such caliber games on this channel (well, if not stepping into Ryan's land, or if it is not a deduction game that Dan is raving about and can talk and talk). E.g. in this one you could do a few, maybe three players turns, then cut to the more advanced phase of a game and show damage assessment, wall explanation and then a few cards effects in a play. Then, of course end of game conditions. Remember, we are not the goldfishes, short attention span ;)

To be honest, I with my humble opinion enjoy those way more, because I tend to understand game better than when I get explained the rules quickly, but still confused from the game

Wonderful emir I understand that, but in this review i don't think you had to see all 6 players go :)

wr00t Sometimes its nice to see how a game actually plays out a bit instead of just understanding the general overview. If some game play is included, people that don't want to see it can simply skip ahead and those of us that are interested can watch it. Beats the alternative of not having it whether you'd like it or not.
