Hey Erwin, great comments! You say "without having to go into the under-sling mode"; implying that that way is a disadvantage. What do you mean by this? I find use of the ring is bulky and cumbersome and using the AK with BOTH handles is much easier to manipulate. The footage; is jerky. I can tell when you are stepping in your walk; camera jerks up and down.. Are you walking heel-to-toe? No doubt since the time you posted this video, your walking with the gimbal skill has improved! I have the AK4500; 10.2 lbs capacity...better mini-tripod that function as a handle too. The AK4500 added ability to manually set the "sensitivities"; i.e., have various speeds of operation: default, smooth, action, and custom. Where you can set the follow speed and the dead zone. The AK4500 DOES have a double release plate. Oh my; the AK4500 DOES have locking arms. Note the AK4500 came out in April of 2019...your video is July 2019. Why didn't you get the AK4500? With all the FLAWS in the AK4000, which you yourself mentioned, you should NOT be recommending the AK4000 over the AK4500; just too many issues! I'd say spend a bit more and get a MUCH better product! Purchasing a product is not about getting the lowest cost. It's about getting the best VALUE! Unfortunately, Feiyu has made NO UPDATES to the firmware since August 2019 and it is now December 2024! Lastly, I see you got the Sony a6700. I upgraded from my a6400 to the a6700 in July. Not happy with the flip out LCD; I'll post why in your a6700 review comments. They should have used the FULLY articulated LCD from the 7RV... Thanks again!

Does the gimbal work with standard manfroto style quick release plates

I think the plates that come with the gimbals fit on a manfroto product but the manfroto plate doesn’t fit on the gimbals
