Love your video- the Vanilla extract is typically made by putting Vodka in a jar and adding whole vanilla beans to the jar as well. The longer it sits the more flavorful it is. The one you got just means that they used bourbon instead of the Vodka. Hope that helps 😃

The bourbon vanilla extract is actually bourbon with soaked vanilla bean! How you make vanilla extract is from a liquor (typically vodka) and vanilla beans, then letting them sit for six-ish months. So you bought a bourbon (instead of vodka) one! It might have a bolder flavor. Sounds delish!

Actually, there IS alcohol in that Bourbon Vanilla extract. vanilla extract (and most flavor extracts) are a solution of concentrated flavoring mixed with alcohol to make it a pourable liquid.
