In college someone told me this quote, sleep more than you study, study more than you party, and party as much as you can. It is SO true. Without good sleep you don’t perform well. You have to study to fulfill your college commitment, and you also have to party because this is the only chance you have to be without responsibilities (other than yourself) forever. Soak it all in and enjoy it. You’re doing fantastic!

@CharlyeHebert I agree with the quote except partying can be done during the school breaks AND college life is a responsibility of its own. I don't know what you mean by the only chance you have without responsibilities perhaps you're living out of your parents' wallet but even then you're responsible for doing your studying, turning in assignments, and making the grades to pass with at least a C+. You'll always have responsibilities you just get to choose which ones you want and can handle. The advice I give to women is that child-bearing is overrated. Just saying 😉.

As a life coach, I noticed your self declaration of being lazy numerous times. Speaking this into the universe and believing this contributes actions to prove this to be true. Leave this kind of self talk behind and instead, declare on a daily basis something like " I am productive..." eventually your actions will match your words and beliefs about yourself. Focus on what you want......You are worthy, productive, bold, smart, and courageous. Own it girl!!!

As a California native girlie that chose to go to Iowa for college, it was so rough especially the first year. Health, both mental and physical, adjusting to knowing nobody, and trying to maintain schooling while being severely homesick. Something clicked, perhaps when I made a solid group of friends, but sophomore year and after, I thrived and loved going to college, even if it was so far from home. You’ll adjust. ❤

When I went to college the teachers in the introduction classes didn’t care if you came to class or not, fail, don’t show up, so be it. But the classes also had hundreds of students in them. Taking care of yourself is more important than posting. Loved your video 🥰

Hey babes! Fellow procrastinator here but something that kinda helps me is lists! Get a whiteboard and put it somewhere you're going to see it like all the time and make a list of important things you need to get done then write something you'll do to treat yourself when it's all done and cuz you see it a lot you'll hopefully get in the habit of just wanting to get it done to get it off your list then once your done you get to treat yourself plus the feeling of accomplishment you get is pretty great too.

Erinnnn, gurl I have been outta college for a WHILE. I STILL am lazy, I STILL eat mac & cheese from the pan cause I don't wanna do dishes, I STILL LOVE R&B sooo much, I STILL eat fast food more than I should & don't exercise like I wanna, I STILL miss home ALL the time and I am STILL figuring things out! OK, The point is, It is OK 2 be where ur at in ur head cause when you get older you realize that ur still kinda (pretty much, minus the parties) the same as u were when you were 18-22yo. Take care OF YOU, see a doctor if you've been sick on n off for that long, don't let the lil things bother you (or try not) and we'll all be here 4 you when ya need us! Literally the biggest thing I took away from college is the growing I did and the independence I gained. I had some of my worst days and times in college and some of my best. Its not about the destination but its about the journey.

you’re lovely and have a great attitude. eating better is hard, but just little tweaks in eating and even a little walk thrown in will help. taco bell won’t kill you, just drop soda and have unsweetened tea. it’s little things that make change. reasonable lists of “to do” help. a way to make berries keep longer is don’t wash until use and take out of the container they come in and refrigerate in a closed container.

Yes I put my berries in glass mason jars with little paper towel on top and bottom, unwashed. They last about 2 weeks, rather than just a few days

Eryn, self discipline is difficult for all ages more so for your first chapter in life living on your own away from home. College life is a sedentary life because you're sitting down studying a lot so that's partly why you might not feel motivated. Another reason why you may start feeling a little blue is not having a social life (spending time with friends and family) but tell yourself it's ok, that's a temporary sacrifice. And yes, Fall and Winter blues does affect some (me too) but you know that what the seasonal blues are and they're just yearly bumps on the road. I recently started trying to workout at the gym (prior pandemic my exercise were all fun activities like dancing, L.A. group cycling, solo cycling, hiking, etc.) usually on the treadmill for some walking/running and as much as I want to do some weight training and increase my workouts (to see results faster 💪 muscle) I know I can't because I then get too tired to study. 🤷 What I also enjoy but the university I go to is just now getting back to regular programming is taking different types of dance classes (under the physical education department) to incorporate something physical. Perhaps you're into theater or ceramics? Find something that gives you a little break from the books but is associated with your university (perhaps to earn credit). University life is hard to make long term friends (easy to find study buddies) and when you do it's usually temporary because it's people's short (4 or 5 years) chapter in life. Do you mind sharing the courses you finished this semester and enrolling into the next semester?

Just remember you are in charge of your future and you decide what’s best for you. I applaud you for giving college a try because some people love the experience and some learn real fast it isn’t for them and both are ok but some stay and torture themselves because they are either expected to or afraid to leave. If millennials have taught us anything it’s you can be successful without a college degree 😂 do you and be happy❤

Eryn, do you think you might have allergies? I had endless sinus issues for years before I found out I had then and started taking the right antihistamine, etc. Maybe take an allergy test to see. Being in a new environment can trigger them. I'm in my 40s. I still deal with allergies. As for your ears, if you haven't, have an ENT see if you need wax removed. Water, etc can get trapped and lead to infection. I'm so proud of you, taking chances, being so honest, real. I'm routing for you.
