I don’t care how unlikely it is I still hope that we eventually gain confirmation that Erza got some type of power from her mother turning into a dragon while she was in the womb. I don’t want her to get Dragon Slayer Magic but I would be fine if she got a full on Dragon Armor that utilizes her dormant dragon abilities, or something that doesn’t change her magic but adds onto it, instead of just a sword that technically has nothing to do with her

After the whole Selene situation is resolved, maybe Diabolos could split up and go help out in certain fights. The original Diabolos trio of Skullion, Madmole, and Kiria could go to help Grey. If Lecka shows up to fight Grey, him and Skullion could fight him together, since Skullion is also a Maker Wizard. Also, Madmole's armor seems to be made of some kind of mineral, which could tie into alchemy somehow. Maybe Madmole could get a temporary powerup where he eats some of Viernes' gold and becomes a Golden Buddha. For Suzaku, he could go help Erza fight Wed. I think it would be really cool and add more weight to Wed's title as the strongest swordsman in Guiltina if he is never able to be beaten in a single one on one fight. It takes two master swordsman, the number one swordsman in Ishgar and the number two swordsman in Guiltina, working together to take him down. A Unison Raid between Erza and Suzaku would be awesome to see. If the Signario Sisters show up to where Selene is, Misaki and Haku could stay behind to help Wendy fight them. Misaki and Haku have both displayed similar powers to ones we've seen the Signario Sisters using. One of the sisters could create a dimension of sorts, like Misaki, and the other could summon toys, similar to how Haku can turn people into plushies. It seems like an obvious matchup. As for Kirin, not sure which fight he would go to help out in. Maybe he'll be gunning for Ignia like Natsu. There's also the possibility that a dragonified Raj could show up as an enemy.

@@TheGreekWeeb Adding some more to the ideas, Athena could get involved as well. Even if, Kiria, Skullion, and Madmole arrive to help Grey and Madmole gets a temporary power up, it won't be enough and will probably only hold Viernes back for a little bit. Athena will need to show up too to give them more firepower. So Grey and Skullion could fight Lecka, Madmole and Athena fight Viernes, and Kiria maybe works on breaking the lacrima and holding off the dragonified citizens. Perhaps Elefseria's apprentice that made the philosopher's stone could get involved as well, since he is still living there in the area. As for Lucy, for her next fight she could help Natsu fight Ignia. Would be a good way to show off the powers of her newly reacquired Aquarius key by using it on the strongest fire user in the series. Maybe Mercphobia comes with her. That would be a cool scene, having her show up to the battle riding on Mercphobia as a dragon. Alternately, she could fight Faris, though if she is to have any chance against her she would need some kind of Celestial Spirit King Star Dress.

This chapter is honestly is honestly cracked and probably the best chapter we've gotten in awhile the the true festival feels like its finally beginning and the matchups are all fantastic. Sometging i noticed as to why gray is to fight veirenes is because its possibly a rave master reference? Because gray would be silver and vierenes is gold and if you've read rave you probably know the fight I'm talking about so I'm hyped! To pile on more rave references wed dragon design feels very similar to Julia's but obviously more humanoid and on Ignia and Faris I'm getting some Nero vs Ziggy/Ziggy vs Elsie vibes, a clash of top tiers you could say. I for sure thought the diablos members were gonna be dragonized lol but its whatever they can help wendy help selene, hopefully the fight is about wendy saving selene like irene did. Anyways amazing chapter!

Actually I think Ignia is going to play on Natsu's relationship with Igneel and maybe the other dragon parents as a way to make natsu fight all his battles until there is no one who can interfere with him. As he have seen he gets annoyed when others interfere with his plans and he might have Natsu go out and kill the others such as rebellious and Diaobolos in exchange for giving Natsu information about Igneel and the other dragon parents. That would be cool to see A combination of Jellal vs Erza tower of heaven arc ie historical emotional connecetion Gray vs Ultear Tenrou Island Arc ie Adopted vs Biological children Laxus' coup against Fairy Tail ie being related by blood to a main character and finally Zeref vs Natsu but without a third party to interfer ie Acnologia and Larcade

If Faris helped out in killing Aldoron and did most of the work while the Oracion Sechs just got rid of the body, then I'd be okay with that. She was the power of Acnologia, who was the one who injured Aldoron in the past and forced him to have to go into hibernation to heal.

Tho I am a little confused Gate (Butler looking Demon) destroyed the Dragon Lacrima in Ch 171 pg 11-12 so why are there still people turning into dragons in the town Erza at?

1) Gray isn’t gonna beat Viernes at most he brakes the Lacrima with unexpected help but he not doing shit 2) Why should Wed win? He wins she dies so she has to win and it all depends on how the fight is constructed at the end of the day 3) The 6v6 fight won’t be off screen or at least most of it won’t be 4) Faris and Ignia literally just got to that location and are letting things go crazy for the hell of it and understand their motives for what they’re doing 5) I wouldn’t say the arc is boring. If anything it’s super inconsistent and has alot of problems with how things are handled with Aldoron specifically. 6) It’s been awhile since I’ve seen you comment how’re you doing?
