I do appreciate how the end times aren't placed in the title. It makes watching speedruns less predictable, in my opinion. Shout out to Gaius for being generous with the slams. Hilarious horse commentary towards the end. A nice balance of sadness and dirty laughter. Ha.

Avion represents one of my proudest moments as a long time gamer ever (besides ending Contra and SuperC without losing any lives). Once, on my good old PS2, i somehow stabbed one wing, and in the middle of the barrel roll I landed on the other wing, Stabbed it and then jumped all the way out to the tail... it was breathtaking and no matter how many times i have tried to replicate such thing on PS2, PS3 and PS4 and in the remake I have never done the same thing again, not even close.

I remember watching my cousin play this game back on the PS2 when it first came out. I was in awe at the size of the colossus in this game and how dynamic they were and realistic the graphics were at the time. The remaster is basically how I saw the game back then (I always noticed the framerate though) I cried seeing Valus die with the amazingly sad music. But still loved watching my cousin play the game. I played the game a couple years later myself and I loved it and felt triumph playing it and beating everything. I played it occasionally then and still loved it everytime but focused more on the games on PS3 and hadn't played it in a few years, but I always kept up with either the music, as it was nostalgic and sounded amazing on my speakers/headphones, or I kept up with the fantastic KZbinr, Nomad Colossus. When the first ad came out at E3 for the remake, I flipped my shit and freaked out. I never pre-order, but I had to for this game as this was an amazing game in my childhood, and I had so many nostalgic memories watching my cousin play it and then me playing it and simply watching things about the mysterious world. I essentially got the PS4 Pro for this game to experience it at buttery smooth frames. When I finally got the game it was like playing it for the first time, I felt sadness many times over and had so many memories come over me it was a fantastic experience. A beautiful remake with new stuff in it and fantastic graphics; the game is honestly the closest thing to pure artwork in a video game. Shadow of the Colossus is a masterpiece.

Agro will navigate paths on her own if you just have her run and dont steer. Its easier to get through the pretty Forrest that way.
