Ah. This was just ok for me at first but the schlager’y goodness of the chorus eventually won me over some more. Good, but not a super favorite. Rooting for it but not expecting much. Probably won’t qualify - although I wouldn’t be mad if it did. Love Hera as a singer and performer - and she looks better than ever. I like her in a wide pant rather than a dress, it suits her.

I do enjoy the song as its a typical British sounding song, along the lines of Sigala, James Newmans 'Embers' or Kerrie-Ann's 'Sweet Lies'. I probably like it a lot more because its Hera in all honesty. She could fart the national anthem and I'd still stand up and clap 😂 That said, I was hoping for a stronger song for Hera Björk because she can handle something a lot more dramatic and melodic. Sadly in comparison to the zaniness or the energy of some of the other songs, this one just fades in to that safe/generic category and I can honestly say that it is likely going to non-qualify. I hope upon hope that it does qualify though. Hera is an absolute Eurovision legend, having competed in the Danish national finals in 2009, then representing Iceland in 2010, before being a backing singer for Yohanna, Euroband & Maria Olafs. This would be a full circle moment for her. I just wish the song was much more gospel as that would have stood out so much this year.

It sounds like Embers from 2021 - UK last place 😂. The chorus i mean. Hera is an icon and love her so much but this year is not hers. To me this is DOA and ain’t getting out of that semi of death, especially following Croatia.

This song feels like a more dated version of Hera's 2010 entry, which felt a little dated itself back then. It was genuinely my least favorite of the 10 Söngvakeppnin songs this year, and it beat my favorite in the superfinal in some dubious circumstances, let's just put it that way. But hey, one more sure NQ in SF1 I don't have to worry about for Luna's qualifying chances, I'll take it.

Completely agreed. The title of the song was sung off pitch every single time. It really feels like the song is not for her, as the low parts are just outside of her comfortable range. The song is quite generic. Not too interesting. Hard to imagine it qualifying.

Really boring song, it does nothing for me. In all fairness to Hera, she can sing but this years entry (and the Icelandic selection as a whole) was not great- not a single song stood out imho. They were all meh.
