@turbo8167 I think he means that meliodas is still not as strong as he was during the Holy War because ludociel, the leader of the archangels, had a power level of 201 000 and he still feared meliodas and the fact that meliodas most likely faced mael ludociel younger brother but still power levels in seven deadly sins make absolutely no sense and it's better to scale characters based on feats not power levels

All his emotions except pride and joy, it seems. He was super arrogant to eacanor and he says that he enjoyed fighting against "the one" and Spoiler: It's confirmed later that he was playing around with the one escanor. If he truly had emotions at "minimum", he would have no reason to play around. Even zeldris later described past assault mode as basically liking to "play with his food"

well tbf animation in normal parts are decent enough, only thing i would complain would be fight sins, because we used to very epic fight sins like escanor vs estrossa, and even non battle scenes like meli catching gil's spear in first season was way to good. fight scenes from this season just doesn't feel right. but i think story make up for it.

The first 3 times I watched 7DS, I honestly didn't even realize that the animation had dropped until I saw people pointing it out, I genuinely was just enjoying the show so much that I didn't even see it, but now that I know, I can definitely see it and it ain't even that bad. I understand that the animation could've been better if they probably had more budget, but anyone who is bellyaching about the animation isn't watching it to enjoy it, but is watching it like a judge on a talent show, critiquing every move of the performer.

Healing Escanor would do nothing, remember at this point in time, Escanor can only stand up to Meliodas for 1 minute at noon when he was at his strongest. And Meliodas is still not at his full strength, and is already slightly weaker than Escanor that too at noon; he is far stronger and will continue to grow to his full capacity. Escanor can never grow, that noon is his limit. Of course, the fight with the demon king is the exception because of (Spoiler). But other than that, Escanor does not stand a chance from this moment out.

Elizabeth didnt heal escanor cuz there is no point. Noon already past so escanor will go back to his weak form as night approaches. So escanor getting healed or not doesnt matter he will be weak as shit at night. Unless he manage to create a pseudo sun again in his mind.

this show goes to shit not because the animations, the animations just adds to how terrible its going to be. in my honest opinion Escanor is the sole reason to carry this show entirely for me. if he wasn't mentioned in season 1 this whole show would've started to crumple since then AND its alive thanks to his existence too. The story started good but then later on it goes to worse and the plot comes outta nowhere (where it is not a shocking surprise anymore but more like wtf is this?!). You'll notice how things fly in like nobody's business in a way that doesn't make since and have no basis to it at all.
