Not to sound stupid, but how did you make the plane fly in the hangar. I may just be being dense but how????

i'm pretty sure its a bug, but what i did was use the FM devtool you get by using localhost:8111 to set speed, then select testflight (but not enter it). As soon as you select test flight, the plane will have the devtool settings apply. You don't get any controls to fly it, it just moves on its own and it's super jank @ZoltanSultan 's video explaining the devtool: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKvZl5mfqNiqqqM If you want a more legit and actually useable way of flying around the hangar, use this usermission made by @TheCodMineMan : live.warthunder.com/post/1119504/en/

Damn, the basement guy failed the frame perfect 0.5 A press to clip into the floating point misaligned wall hitbox causing him to go below his defacto syncing speed and end up in the wrong parallel universe. Those 12 hours of building up speed, gone for nothing... What a sad day. I hope the next run ends better, maybe try to keep QPU alignment through the underwater basement door section?

How did you play as basement guy? Is it a secret easter egg?

The special 12th anniversary War Thunder hangar lets you run around in the hangar. You can find the guy standing to the right of the twin-barreled april fools dune tank for the tank hangar and at the start of the red carpet in front of the cake in the aircraft hangar (but none for the naval hangar). You can click on him, which puts you in control of the guy. Mouse controls camera, WASD/leftrightupdown controls movement, space is jump, c is free look, left control is sprint. You have access to most of the hangar space and a lot of the paved roads between the hangars, letting you interact and jump on a lot of stuff, though when you start to go out of bounds, there's a 2 second timer where they'll warn you before kicking you back into normal hangar view.
