The "THINK!" driving PSA from the UK where they show a child getting hit with a car in the middle of the street in slow motion is pretty cool. I remember them playing that on cartoon network when I was nine. :) Or the other driving PSA where they forget to wear their seatbelts and the son in the back seat flies forward in a crash and crushes his mother, with the advert ending on the daughter letting out a blood curdling screech. That one wasn't on cartoon network, but it was still on daytime TV when I used to watch cartoons on state TV. People wonder why Europeans are desenitised to freaky shit...

I live in Finland where we usually don't have scary PSAs, but I did see a pretty messed up one in the movie theater once. It was a fire safety PSA which started pretty chill with a self- biography of a guy living a normal life. Then it cuts to a hospital with a charred corpse and the narrator saying: "This is me after the fire." I can't remember when this was, but it's pretty much the only instance I'm aware of, when Finland showed such graphic imagery in a commercial. Even a more recent PSA about domestic violence doesn't show the actual violence, rather the effect it has on children.
