"21I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me. 22For I delight in the law of God after the inward man: 23But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members. 24O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin." Romans 7 Repent, and remember, only JESUS CHRIST saves.

My Mortgage is lower than renting right now. That’s a problematic statement when renting, which I did for 18 wasteful years, could have been used to buy a home and let’s just say a lot of amazon, apple, Facebook stocks.

I like Gary but what he said about renting makes no sense. I’m going to sell my house to go rent? Why would I do that? With rent I am at the mercy of a landlord which has complete control over what I pay for something I need
@UncleSwell70711 ай бұрын
You weren’t listening. He said MOST people in here should sell their house cause they bought it for all the wrong reasons. He didn’t say YOU.
@kuruptflip2110 ай бұрын
I agree that you should keep your house instead of renting. His sentiment however was to be less materialistic and more free. It’s easier to chase your dreams when youre not tied to a mortgage.
@MSunhee5 ай бұрын
Yeah paying more each month in rent than a mortgage and having no ability to get any money back over the years if you sell it makes zero sense at all
@regalcompendium4 ай бұрын
I think this video is a bit dated and at that time, housing isn’t as crazy as it is. So I also agree with you, if you have a house right now that isn’t too extravagant, of course you keep it rather than renting. But if you own a house that is much larger than you need, than Gary’s point makes a lot of sense, even the times we are living right now.

@@maxandliv In a successful marriage, spouses rely on each other to run the household. You have to trust each other, or it all falls apart.
@claraisnotmebutilikeit Жыл бұрын
it's not about relying, but giving. If you want happy marriage you should focus on what can you offer to make your spouse better. Giving is the key to happiness. Relying is more focusing on taking, ppl who focus on what can they get will never be fulfilled.

Gary is basically quoting Jesus... LOL!!! 🙂In the Bible God is Love. And throughout the Bible it says that we should not have any other man made gods/idols (money, sex, success, ego etc.) but God (Love). So by not letting any man made "gods" have control over us, we are free to love our selves and others. This is ancient truths. In tech development this is exemplified through empathy design. We know that if we make the customer love our product because we have showed them empathy and removed a pain, we will make money. So if we belive in love/empathy, we will have success but also create life and light in the world.

@ahmadwarwar80612 жыл бұрын
If you read rich dad poor dad it says that most people think that their home is a asset . But it’s not it’s a liability because it cost you money to own each week . I think the point he’s trying to make is it’s way cheaper to rent then to own a home that you live in . Just like the bmw and Toyota analogie Purchasing a house and renting it out for a income is completely different to owning and living in the property. We’re i live in Sydney Australia purchasing a family home over here to live in will trap you and suck up all your cash flow for life . Rent vesting is the way to go over here . Regards
@kimb6508 Жыл бұрын
@@ahmadwarwar8061 that's only if it's a non cash producing asset, so if you rent out that house and make a profit, it's no longer a liability. Though I will be the first to admit that maybe it's not the best source of income at this current time, but it's one of the only few ones out there with little risk, provided you're willing to put in the work.
