Individuals who are actually well-grounded and have a strong desire to help other people usually do not go around selling self-help workshops. They are out in their communities, donating their time and money without expectation of praise. Anyone looking for someone kind-hearted to take after would be better served starting in shelters, libraries and food banks. Instead of paying for overpriced workshops.

Women followed him out of ambition to be 'superior' to everyone else, which is a way of selling your soul. Otherwise they would have walked away when the branding iron came out, instead of regarding it as putting them in a special class of women. The time for gurus in the US was about 1970-80. After than, the cutting edge of higher human unfoldment moved on to higher and more subtle methods. If anyone had tried branding people then, it would not have taken on. The branding was done over the sacral chakra, the emotional centre, and breathing IN the pain was to deepen and intensify the pain/shock/trauma factor. Things become more gentle and subtle when conscious is raised, not more blatant and grotesque.

I said that the people who volunteer would be a better model to take after if you are interested in being a kind-hearted person who actually helps society. Probably filled with more people who would be more trustworthy than those you find at over-priced, feel good seminars and you would probably find more useful lessons too.

I was currently enrolled in a community college in Long Beach, CA. Allison Mack was one of my classmates in a sociology course and I literally had NEVER knew anything about this story AT ALL. Surprisingly, cults and trafficking was never a topic that was discussed in the class. Me and Allison became good friends and all of our classmates knew of us to sit together everyday and make jokes about the professor and be sort of loud and obnoxious. She was the sweetest most down to earth person I had ever met. But in the back of my mind I always found it a bit odd that any time she’d converse with me...she’d give me compliments and try to engage in conversation with me as if she was trying to get me to be vulnerable. She also never showed up for any of the exams, yet she showed up for every other class. I read about this story 3 months after the course ended and I was completely blown away because I had no idea this lady existed before this class started. I also came to the conclusion that her way of connecting to me was all apart of her recruiting tactics and I have never felt more unsafe than I do now. This is just to say to anyone who finds this story or finds themselves in a similar situation, pay attention to your surroundings and don’t get too close to people, you literally never know who you’re talking to.

@@quintuplebanned4267 I met her when they were out networking and asking for people who were coaches or looking into personal improvement. Someone gave her my name since I am a life coach. So I agreed to meet her. She talked about how their material was so much better than anything out there in the field of personal development. But I'd been coached by some pretty amazing people. She "coached" me right there in starbucks. Her technique was good, but nothing I hadn't done myself or been exposed to, but then I had also had exposure to very skilled coaches. I'm sure they would have taken my money but I wasn't interested. The red flags were the emphasis on ONE leader - the elusive Keith who was such a genius AND that their material was so amazing it was patented and couldn't be used outside their organization. I don't think any organization has all the answers and when any organization or religion claims to have the answers vs. one's own inner guidance, that's a huge red flag. Spiritual leaders should be helping people find the answers within themselves. I think the few who achieve success through being the leader of a movement are easily seduced by their own power and are then drawn into feeding their egos. And unchecked egos are bottomless pits which can never be satisfied, and can only lead to massive destruction......... like our current president for example.

Sociopaths and Psychopaths can score high on IQ tests. That doesn't mean they are fit to be leaders or score high in other areas of human intelligence and consciousness. I watched several of Keith's interviews where he was supposedly sharing his "genius." He said absolutely NOTHING. He seems to use a lot of circular logic and is clever at playing to people's insecurities and low self esteem. So when something he says actually doesn't make sense (and I saw the quizzical looks in every interviewee's eyes) they assume it's because he's a "genius" and the information is just over their heads. Honestly I was rolling my eyes at everything he said. Total garbage. But then my narcissist meter is especially sensitive. lol

I don't care how brilliant a sociopath is. I'd much rather have emotional intelligence, and feel emotional highs and lows. Sociopaths tend to thrill seek to the point of danger and destruction of themselves and everyone around them just to feel anything at all. They can't relate to people emotionally, so they've learned to observe and mimic others to try to "fit in". They can be very charming, and will try to impress and relate to you on a superficial level. They believe that they are better than everyone else, because that is easier than just being different, and in their minds it justifies their perception that everyone around them are mere pawns that they can control. One of the first signs that a person is a sociopath is to watch their eyes. Their face may be expressive, but their eyes will be emotionless. Then ask them something that should elicit an emotional response while rendering yourself emotionless. They will not know how to react, but will tell you what they think you want to hear. I have met and worked with some sociopaths in my time, it is best to keep them at a distance and don't give them any personal information, or they may use it to their advantage.

amazing that, once she coped a plea, poor Allison Mack suddenly becomes the innocent victim who's strength we should applaud. Prior to her plea agreement the US Government Identified Mack and CBS and all the other major media outlets were happy to do same, as the second in command at DOS. Apparently all it takes for some privledged individuals to have their entire image turned around in the media is some tears in court, the "I'm just a victim" plea and a "It was all his fault" statement. I mean her tears and her court preformence had be to 100% genuine right? I mean its not like she's a trained and experience actress, right?

Last month I posted some firsthand comments and wanted to be sure I was accurately quoting them. So, with her encouragement, part of the writer’s 2018 letter: “(Raniere) was always a pyramid scheme with himself on top. He set the standard for men. Men set the standard for women, who were inherently substandard because they weren’t men. Our job was to ‘grow’ by finding and submitting to superior men while ignoring the inferiors. Since Keith was the world’s most highly evolved male, he was everyone’s superior, making our jobs easier...There’s nothing in the big handbook by female independent thinkers because they’re anathema to Keith Raniere. But all I heard was the opposite: ‘He’s a feminist. He’s celibate. He knows it’s a man’s world because he’s a man, he’s sharing his insider hacks to toughen you up and help you survive it. You should be grateful. And anyway, if anyone asks-he’s not involved with the women’s groups, they’re strictly grassroots.’ When you were too tired, hungry and unsure to ask why women’s emancipation consisted of being the right man’s property, you were ready for the next phase...What finally did it? Being asked to recruit others into what I was going through...I kept seeing myself in POWs, Holocaust survivors, sexually abused kids. At what point did they all say they felt broken? When they were made to betray their friends. After that, they could never again claim to be innocent, ethical, or used; now they were conspirators. When I knew I couldn’t explain to a friend why this wasn’t what it looked like, I was done. I can’t claim I had some epiphany, but this is what I tell my kids: with the exception of prying you from a burning car, there’s no such thing as hurting someone for their own good. This includes punishment, which becomes unjust when it outstrips the crime. Challenge is good, hurt is not. Anyone who really wants to help you grow will show you the way to the sun.”
