Good evening Dave,Bella, and the Bounder!!! Thank you so much for another great video and you couldn’t have chosen a better spot to relax and up on the hill there. Yeah I’ll completely agree with you by chooosing not to stay on top of the hill so to speak. Happy to see that you made it down off of the big hill for sure and found somewhere else to stay that perhaps was just as nice. Well safe travels and looking forward to the new adventures the road ahead of you will take you next. Again, great breathtaking scenic views where you were . Much love ❤️ to you Bella !!! Don’t blame you I like cooler weather and don’t like the heat at all. ❤️❤️❤️🙂🙂🙂🙂👍👍👍👍👍💖🥰😍

In 1969 I worked on the Coconino National Forest during the summer doing forest inventory. We were all over the forest. On week we stayed in an old Forest Service cabin near the Mogollon Rim. Lightning and thunderstorms would come up in the evening. It was amazing and scary.

Dave that's a wonderful camp spot too bad you couldn't stay longer. The clouds in the sky and long view was beautiful. Children need to know that putting rocks between succulent leaves can hurt them. I blame the parents.

Hey Dave-- It's pronounced Muh-ghee-YUN-- the double "el" is a y sound as in Spanish, and the accent is lightly on the last syllable. Dave surprised to see you on rt. 87 ( or we locals call it the Bee line highway.) I travel that route all summer long to beat the heat. i have a house in east phoenix and keep my travel trailer in happy jack storage all summer. Thats only another 15 miles from where you stopped on the rim. All kinds of free camping in the national forest. plenty of cell signal to. From my house at 1300 feet to where you stopped on the rim is a 6000 foot elevation climb. No wonder Betty was pooped out LOL. From stawberry to where you were on the rim is a staight 1000 ft. climb.

Those flat rocks are flagstones.Arizona flagstone is mainly quarried from the Coconino and Prescott National Forests. Although flagstone and dimension stone are quarried from all over. There are flagstone quarry operations near Ashfork and Williams AZ. People use it for walkways, patios and sidewalks all over the Southwest.

Dave, l would bet that a big block GM, the sound of your rig climbing those grades, is the best thing thats happened today. Sounds strong, shifts great. Been running one myself for many years. 1975, Class A, 26ft Argosy Airstream. Nothing sounds like a big block Chevy, peddle to the metal, passing gear, Quadrajet secondaries wide open on a mountain pass grade. Thanks for the audio.

Aloe, in Hawaii we use it for open sores or we scrape it and squeeze out the jell and put a little in your drink like orange juice and so on, it helps for blood pressure, upset stomach, and so on. Aloha from Hawai’i 🌺

Looks like fun Dave. Im here in Pa. Watching the views and enjoying the ride.. i like the speed up part but you still get an idea of the terrain. You had a few good spots there.. and a ie bar? Wheres the photos? When you get in the upper altitudes. Sometimes the UV can be more intense..esp. on sunny days. Some weather channels will say if its low medium or high.. see if it makes a difference in your area. Some areas get more than others and higher altitudes.. even piolets with h8gh altitude flights in some areas have had to cut back.. The also started putting blue bags on bannanas a few years ago i was told it was for UV protection. We get a very few days of here. Some people use a meter to check.. i read its more intense in the central and parts of South America and there was an ozone hole for awhile over the antartic in one spot. Interesting info.

Hi Dave , you gave Betty a workout driving all the way from Yuma to the Mogollon Rim, which by the way is pronounced...Mogo-yon... Its a beautiful area for camping in the summer when its burning up in the Phoenix area where we live. The rim is an escarpment that goes all the way to New Mexico and is at 7000+ ft. elev. too bad you couldn't overnight, but theres all kinds of camping in the area. I'm sure you'll enjoy the cool weather . If you keep driving you'll get to Payson and get on the 260 and that'll take you to Showlow and Pinetop/Lakeside with beautiful lakes and lots of camping. Enjoy your stay in our state!!!
