The Zancudo is without a doubt one of my favorite EDC knives. It is an extremely simple and effective design. For my fill review watch the video!

Great review. I love my Zancudo too. I got the one in Olive with the black blade and handle. It rides so great on my pocket due to that slim profile and light weight.

I was going to get this, or the Leatherman crater c33. Chose the crater, which is a great, solid blade. Slight decrease in steel quality in exchange for being US made. Might get this when the crater breaks. I smash my EDC knives.

3:37 - I can find plenty of knives made in America under $30

These knives are produced by JOTI Development Ltd. in Taichung City, Taiwan. Joti is one of the best OEM suppliers in the world when it comes quality and precision workmanship. They have all state of the art equipment, as well as a fairly well trained and paid staff. Cold Steel, Ontario, and Boker, as well as Spyderco's higher end knives are produced there. Look at the way a Spyderco Sage is put together, and tell me those Taiwanese can't make knives. Not exactly made in USA for patriotic reasons, but just as good or better workmanship. And unlike Chinese workers, Taiwanese workers earn a decent wage, and can tell their boss to go get screwed without fear of being jailed.

I bet the dipped end of the handle was put in there to keep Kershaw off their ass over copyright infringement. Other than blade shape, this knife is indeed somewhat Leek-esque in profile and overall size.
