I have this controller myself and I love everything about except the sticks. They feel cheaper than those found on the xbox or ps4 variants. The response is somewhat that of more latency which feels like there is a natural deadzone you can fix.

So i got two of these, one for myself and one for my brother, they're solid gamepads, far higher quality than their price point would suggest. And for a few months, that held true. For some reason though, both gamepads have begun to display a very unusual example of stick drift. It's not that the sticks are worn out or damaged, but the right stick specifically seems to ocassionally get stuck with it's inputs. It's clearly a wireless issue, but i can't for the life of me figure it out. It's become a major issue when playing FFXIV, as my camera just ends up stuck rotating, which is not condusive for precision movement to dodge AOE markers or position myself for certain attacks. It's a shame, because i love this gamepad, it's comfortable, and i don't think i could deal with losing the extra switches on the back. Been thinking about picking up the wired version i've seen on their official store.

You may have some interference in your house with the signal. A wired version may be your best bet.

@@SHELTECH4 Bit of a followup, and relevant information. My system is running almost 24/7, and as such, so is the wireless reciever. Turns out the old addage proved true. It needed to be unplugged and let rest for a minute. Drift is gone after doing so. I guess it gets a bit bogged down when left unattended for too long.

it means its in a different mode Likely Android mode. Hold down the mode button to switch back to PC if you need it. Otherwise remove dongle restart controller then reinsert dongle

i have this controller, it used to always detect x input for pc which is the first 2 leds and then the 2 bottom leds now it always defaults to the switch input everytime i turn off the controller and the receiver when I switch off pc etc, the Nintendo switch setting is the 2 blue leds at the top, to get it back to x input have to always restart pc or remove the drivers reinstall it again, have soo many people on the on the esm discord server having similar issues telling me to avoid this controller and get another branded one, it seems like its going that way for me :/

Got this a year ago. Worked fine till 2 days ago. It seemed a great buy but now buttons randomly switch while gaming which is unplayable. I hate the buttons behind, they are useless other than performing actions during play you don't want like dismounting during a boss fight in Elden Ring. So at this point the dpad acts strange and the X and Y button are the same function. Can't seem to figure it out. Reset, mode, etc. Tried all internet suggestions. think I'll buy a real controller now.

I found that by removing the Dongle, restarting the controller then inserting the dongle again works best. I had the same issue. As advice to anyone reading. Don't insert the Dongle before turning on the controller. It defaults to switch mode as primary mode since it was designed for switch in mind.

Turbo button not self explanatory haha I’m here to say I had to bust out the manual cuz the turbo got stuck on. For anyone who has the same problem it’s because you have to figure out which button is bound to turbo and reverse it. To bind or unbind from turbo hold the button down and then press turbo.

They stay mapped to last thing you programmed. So you may hit by accident although I haven't actually done that in a game yet. Depends how you handle your controller during gameplay

That is an interesting idea. I may try in future. The matt parts look like it will hold paint. But the glossy areas probably won't hold for long. Maybe sanding it will make it more paintable. Just a thought

The manual of this game controller is pretty bad. It doesn't say the USB stick is the receiver. Plugging in the USB cable will not let me connect to Windows 11 on my computer. So, it must be wireless and cannot be wired. It also doesn't tell you how to turn off the controller. I did it by trial and error by pressing the "home" button for long enough.

Hey. Thanks for the review but I have a question. It's not showing up on my Windows10 install, as an XBOX controller currently. When I first purchased it, it worked perfectly, but now, the "Home " (or XBOX) button, does nothing and does not activate the way it used to with "Game Bar" or with Steam, not even recognized. I'm not sure if this is due to me installing the drivers or not. Any thoughts on how to restore the controller to factory setting and/or remove the drivers I installed?

You shouldn't need to install drivers for this controller. I would uninstall the drivers.

Check if it doesn't have a switch for X input and D input, if it has, choose the X input and it will be recognized as an Xbox controller, otherwise go to Device Manager and uninstall it, then reconnect and it should be fixed.

Windows 10 doesn't recognize the controller when connected via cable. For USB wireless, It works well but the cable not working. The question is, Does the cable used for charging only. If you can use the cable connects to your pc without a dongle, please tell me how to do that. LED 1 2 3 4 start flashing but can not pairing

You can use the cable without the dongle inside the game. Worked fine for me in Madden. Your cable may be defective

If I want to use it through a cable, then this cable needs to have a data transmission function. So, The problem is the cable that comes in the box and now I used my mobile's cable and it works fine.
