I don’t whether to love this or not, I’m an empath so I love the journey from ‘familiar in training’ to witch reborn. But I also believe that a ‘familiar’ would not disobey or steal from the witch family it serves.

Bonnie, I totally understand where you are coming from. My experience however, is that Familiars are unique forms of individuals who act on their instincts, innate nature, and their personalities due to them being linked with three forms of reality ( the æther, the wild, and human/ domestic forms of reality). I've had literal debates with familiars ( my own as well) about " why it's a dick move to swipe other people's stuff" and that there's certain forms of squabbling/ mischief that's permissible while other forms are not.

I hated the owl, felt bad for the kitty, then felt bad for both of them. Mainly the kitty.... then cried my freaking eyes out like a two year old out of sadness, before those tears turned into tears of joy. THANK YOU FOR THE EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER RIDE GEEEEZE!!!!!!

There's not literally a "witch" class in D&D (at least not that I've found), but there is a "Find Familiar" spell - and according to it, you're only supposed to have one familiar at a time. Looks like this witch figured out an exception to the rule, and it also looks like this is _why_ the rule exists: two familiars will fight each other and spoil the witch's work.

I loved it. Ever part. I cried when I could see the pain of loss and guilt in Kitty for indirectly causing her demise. "What is the spiritual meaning of an owl? The owl spirit animal represents the deep connection that you share with wisdom, good judgment, and knowledge. Like the owl, which is known for its sharp vision and keen observation, you also possess insight and intuition. The meaning of the owl also has something to do with change or transition." Even though Owl and Kitty are at odds, Owl, most likely could have blamed Kitty. But instead, with good judgement and forgiveness, chose to forgive and comfort Kitty in their grief. This I think shows the change the two have for each other in the end. Forming a stronger bond than before, or that I would like to believe anyway. The colors where amazing, the animation was superb, sound/music easily had me engrossed from the beginning. I couldn't begin to come up with an amazing idea such as this, or put it into the pre-production phase of storyboarding.
