Necro main here also, definitely gonna give this a try. I been running Perfected lightning asylum with force pulse spammable, way of fire, rallying or wretched and markyn with 1 pc monster of choice. It’s been okay. Necro is tough these days.

Ive run thjs exact same build before. But i replaced nobility of decay with daedric trickery...and you have a near constant uptime of animate blastbones. It was just hard to land consistently without an on demand cc

Nice build we should link up on bg i play cro also i use potentates also i keep ult on back bar and i use the pruge for 3% reduce cost got ult currently to 264 def the best way to consistently use the animate ult

I know you play on Xbox, but do you know from talking to other necromancers if Nobility in Decay is broken on PC? Some people are saying the cooldown reduction doesn't work, and the tooltip is permanently stuck on "0% based on your missing health". Did some testing of the low HP healing buff, and it isn't reflected in the healing bonuses tab under your character page. Not sure if it applies without altering the visible stats, though. You do receive the buffs in your effects, that I can confirm, and beautiful corpse works.

@@avidnecro one of the morphs does not do any damage, it only gives you a buff. P.S - I have played TONS of MMOs (Wow from start to start of BFA, WildStar from launch to end, SWTOR for 230h, ESO for 770h). if you ever want an idea or even a chat video, I will gladly throw out some thoughts

I just use essence of spell power instead of degen and inner light, frees up bar space and also gives major intellect increasing mag recovery. Also I've been running kynmarchers on my mag cro and it slaps

That works too! Just be careful with the stam sustain if you’re using crushing weapon! Which is why my bar setup is the way it is. Everything has its place for a reason! Lol

Interesting build I might have to try this on mine, I use Imperial so that's even more Ultimate cost reduction but I lose out on the damage from Khajiit. 👍

It has its trade up. Sometimes I’ve learned high up time on lower damage can outweigh a burst of high damage and low uptime. 🤷‍♂️

I've just got so used to playing Imperial, even before the red diamond buff to 6% but with stage 3 vamp its kind of become a crutch for me. I love Khajiit racial I'm just not a fan of the look. Need to buy some Polymorphs 😅

Yeah yours is looking fire ! I've got a High elf I use for trials, I was using Breton during the harmony period and I love my Dunmer for swapping back and forth. Every time I make a Khajiit it ends up looking ill for some reason lol. I'm gonna do it though, might just need the extra damage for next patch. Not sure what to make of the changes just yet. Have a few sets lined up that might work with the new Blastbones..

Will harmony be ok again if we focus the build on boneyard? 20% of 3 jewels plus 20% of blast bones thats 80% more dmg for boneyard pluse a set like dagons or something? Mybe it will work

Crazy idea what if you swap out the decay for bloodspawn, and the majesty for sea serpents coil ?

You could… but this is what I found to be optimal and sea serpent locks you down and slows you down too much. Sometimes it’s better to get away and kite then reset.

I was trying to use Animate Blastbones last week because I'm desperate to but i never had enough corpses on the ground when i needed them so i had to fall back on stupid dawn breaker.

With this build, you’ll have corpses all the time, and even one on yourself without knowing it still spawning a blast even if you only have two on the ground up time on anime, blast bones is so high it actually makes Necro feel like a necromancer again

@@avidnecro it'll probably work better with Animate, yeah. But because my necro is more of a brawler I lean on Wretched Vitality and New Moon Acolyte. I don't think those sets will let me sustain. This is my dream ultimate though lol. I beg ZOS on the forums to separate the res morph from the blastbones morph and reduce the cost so I don't have to build for it as much.

I do a lot of heavy’s for sustain. But yes light weaving always. LA, degen LA, archer LA, blast bones (bb) LA, crushing weapon Then LA bb and crushing weapon till your buffs run down. Then animate bb but remember to summon your skill stalking blast bones right after to have 4 bb on the burst.

Quite a bit. 12% crit damage lost and we do increased critical strike chance the lower the health with death kneel passive.

12% crit damage really isnt as much as you seem to think 😅 yeah its nice to have but dark elf for example has other decent passives

Darko has Max stats and spell damage and flame resistance. I played dark elf for a few years before I switch to kitty.

When the class relies on a passive as an execute for lower health enemies, critical damage and critical chance are more important than the dark elf passives

@@avidnecro i realize that but you made it sound as if 12% is a massive deal. If it was then you should probably change your boon for crit dmg aswell. I wouldnt be so worried about the crit damage when you're missing a cc on a build that relies on hitting consecutive bbs. Anyone with half a brain can dodge or block them.

These new changes will make bombcro even better. People will just start taking the new blastbones morph with dark convergence and get a free 20% dmg bonus on collosus. These chsnges seem stupid.

In theory… but you would have to back bar it and have animate blast bones and stalking blast bones 🦴on the back bar. Not sure if the increased damage to the summons would carry to the front bar. My guess is no.

You could potentially drop potentates and add ritualist to the front bar and then back bar arena weapon.

Necro is dead bro. They are removing stalking blast bones, the last good damage ability it had, and replacing it with a dot buff.

And btw… animate blast bones spawns… blast bones. A gravelord ability… imagine 4 blast bones each with 20% damage buff. Not including grave grasp buff. 💪 just speculating but with my build you get animate blast bones at only 250 ult cost

@@avidnecro i think animate blast bones would fall under the living death catagory. Even then you just block. Its so televised without a reliable unblockable stun. They should have just tacked this whole thing into the skeletal arcanist/ archer instead. removing blastbones is just so terrible a decision imma probably quit the game cause they're completely changing the clsss i love into something thats not fun to play
