If you're going to use Deadly then take advantage of it with Radiant Oppression. The only healing I use on my templar comes from jabs and I've never had an issue with survival.

I’ve been using the elemental explosion scribing ability with magicka damage, damage over time, and brittle. It has a cast time but it can be nasty

The first two are basic in any elemantal explosion, i use the same config for my lightning and ice [specially this last], but in my third slot i prefer off balance cuz are for PVP. Damage over time proc Sellixtrix and those poor enemies get stunned foir a long time. That in pvp is mortal.

I use Slimcraw, on my Magplar using Noble Duelist with Deadly Strike and of course Oakensoul, that's my going against just solo but I'll use your setup

I agree if scribing is to become a thing on builds it needs to be detailed out a bit more rather than having to go away and look elsewhere to figure it out. For the purposes of this build I believe it is:- Grimoire - Wield Soul Focus - Damage Shield Signature - Class Mastery Afix - Vitality Fortunately it looks like this one will be mostly simple apart from the class script part, the Grimoire, Damage shield Focus and Vitality Afix are gained from doing the intro quest and the easy to acquire scripts for travelling around the various mages guilds across the alliance zones.

Deadly is a damage upgrade

Deadly is a go to for templars because both the spammable and execute abilities are channel abilities. Deadly gives a 15% damage bonus to channel abilities and dots too, if I remember correctly. I'd test around. If your crit chance isn't above 50%, then overall base damage should be the way to go. Orherwise a crit build is failing you.

With the exception of the food (I have whitchmothers potent brew), I followed everything, yet my HP recovery is only 475 to your 1300. Where am I missing all that HP recovery!? My magicka and stamina are 300 off, but my HP is WAY off.

The food gives health recovery, plus being a khajiit. And the tri-stat potion I used also boosts health recovery

How are you at 24k health? I'm at 17.9k with CP slotted no food (but the food is only around 3k health so I'm assuming there's more to it than that). I have 64 points into Magicka as recommended but I'm still finding soloing certain world bosses difficult

Sergents buffs only Heavy attacks, unlike deadly strike which is buffing your main spamable Puncturing sweeps, so unless you are playing very differently than the video ie playing more of a Heavy attack build then its not doing much to you at all.

You can get alliance points pretty easily just from participating in battlegrounds as well, fyi. Then, you just need a character in every alliance so you can join a campaign in Cyrodill, and that will allow you access to every merchant in Cyrodill without really having to fight much. Or a guild can help you get to them. But just doing battlegrounds for the daily bonus rewards is totally worth it. Just need to be on a team that comes in first or second place. Tying in second counts, too.

with the lover mundus stone buff, ill be at around 12k spell pen, but less than 50% spell crit hit chance but my spell damage is only around 4000 and about 4300 buffed, my guess is since my CP level is only 480 that is where the loss of damage is for me

Probably, I have CP1500 and match the crit shown on his character sheet (52.4%) so if you are sorted gear wise (Im not sure if quality effects the crit chance from orders wrath. I am curious where you are getting your 12k pen from though as the build has 9,800 which is enough to met the pen cap for solo, are ypu running a form of breech for solo? you really don't need it, plus for groups major and minor breech is something that the tank should be bringing.

If I start using the shield I run out of mana very fast, I'm not sure why. My build is identical to this except that I'm a dark elf, I drink my tri-stat potions but without the shield I can't stand in Harrowstorms without dying, but if I refresh it too often I'm out of mana. I'm using Radiant Ward right now. Edit: Nevermind, it was a git gud issue. The guide works just fine!

I followed the build to the T but my rings stats are lower than what is shown on the video what the hell am i doing wrong ? My deadly ring only shows 160 power not 174 and bonus 124 not 129?

He has gold level jewellery and i guess you have purple level. Don't worry it want make much difference.

It simplifies things and gives you a TON of great buffs without having to remember to slot and use the skills that give you the buffs. I’m great with warden but am not doing as well with my Templar. So that’s why I’m here. Hoping if I simplify things for myself, I can be more effective!

I like how Hack just pokes a Hole in the bag of "Race really doesnt matter but...." Khajiits are just the Best. Just make a Khajiit for best damage. Yeah. If you get around too it you gotta try a DuelWeild combo of BloodMoon & Noble Duelest, i do mine on a NecroVampire its GadDamn fun has heck!

Finally another build. The bad thing is with every patch now comes a huge nerf. Werewolf pack leader no snares, vampire mist no longer channel. Why they don't keep that port crap in pvp and in pve leave channel? Not all abilities must circle around pvp. Just because of lack of skill of some, everybody pays.

Finally someone is giving Solar Barrage its place. I used it from my first templar build years ago. And i still use it. Why? Yeah the beam is spectacular but when u are channeling that beam you are stucked on it. If you have solar barrage active the skill go with you at the same time you do another things. Yeah the eternal discusion: "The beam is powerful, na na na na....". I never ever used it. To me Solar Barrage is more reliable, don't waste my time, and empower my whole build.

I use both. The beam is the best executioner in the game, but solar barrage is def one of the best dots in game as well.

Templar is best solo class I have a 80k parse while still having 1900 stam mag recovery 32k hp and 14 pen did I mention 28 mr 25pr 😂 1v1 with hel ra first boss like a champ 😂

I would say a DPS, you are good when it comes to self heals on this character and because your main spammable is close range I doubt you want a tank leading mobs away from you so I go with a DPS (currently ember since I'm playing aldermeri dominion character)

Crit damage on Templar is based off of RNG. High Elf is, always has been, and always will be the best race for Magicka Templar. Just like if you wanna go Stamina, it's Orc and always has been. My collective damage will always outshine the one in twenty prase that may or may not grant you more damage than me. Guarantee, the other 19 times I will out perform you in PVE and especially in PVP. And the fact that High Elf now has a passive that grants me more resources... forget it. More sustain was the only buff i've ever needed and now that i have it. Nothing else compares.

Crit dmg is rng on any race and class not just templars and on stam bis is dark elf not orc
