It's 4:AM. I'm up burping/belching, sometimes 2-3 days no sleep, waiting for the body to shut down so I can get a few hours sleep and a break from this 24/7 burping/belching. Started in March 2018, 9 doctors, 3 different ER room visits and 2 trips to the Mayo Clinic. The Mayo didn't impress me any. Watching this film on KZbin is the 1st time I have heard/saw the words "supragastric belching". I was told by the medical wizards that nothing could be done for my condition. Obviously they lied!!! 2 years & 8 months of nothing but being alone, isolation, depression, hopeless and not much of a life worth living. Thank You for posting this film. I don't think I'm as nutty & crazy or I'm weird now. What I got does exsist and the Mighty Mayo is a few fries short of a happy meal, not me. Thank You.

@@manishitachoudhary3049 not at all. I'm guessing because burping/belching is not text book diagnosis, they don't know treatment I'd like someone to try something, but I guess the doctors bosses are to scared. Thank you for asking.

@@mikemammen6646 Go see a Speech and Language therapist who's specialized in supragastric belching (e.g. Lisa Holden in the video above). The treatment can also be done over video call. Good luck with everything.

Thank you for this video. I wish I lived by UCLA so I could get the help I need. I currently have many doctors (primary care, gastroenterologist, nutritionist, psychiatrist, two surgeons, counselor) but no one seems to know how to treat gastroparesis and rumination together.

I have both as well and unfortunately diabetes type 2. Trying my best daily to keep blood sugar in range. Energy level is low

I had rumination disorder since I was a kid and I'm 48 years old. Diagnosed with reflux esophagitis and anthral gastritis 2 months ago.

Not hardly- you're sitting upright, they start feeding a measurement catheter through your nose- hand you a cup of water and tell you to start sipping so it will advance by your swallowing muscles. Hated it !!! I would prefer a EGD or Colonoscopy- was awake for both- 1 intentional , 1 they gave me insufficient sedation- still better than that blasted Manometry!

The statins are causing this it’s been 24 hours off anon I am a nose breather I can’t even drink water without burping, It doesn’t happen when I’m singing only at rest if I’m lying down then dead watching TV I’ll have these belching pits and it’s driving me up the wall I’m on PPIs that I really think it’s the statins…

Lol, this video. How can they speak this long and still not address the solutions?!?! Diet, Light exercise, get off Medications. Do that.
