Part of me understands that there is an insane amount of skill to perform at this level but another part of me says that luck has to play a big role as well. So many instances during this run where the AI would simply laser me from across the room. In particular, those Hive Lightbearer suppressor nades and the shield throw bounces always seem to find a way to kill me even if I’m playing super safe. While I know it would ruin slightly ruin the “holy moly Eso one of the GOATs of Destiny PvE” vibe. I would love to see a compilation of deaths during these challenge runs that Eso has at the end of each season.

Most effective tactic available... since the gm is a farm activity teh most effective/ efficient method will always be to finish the gm with platinum rewards as fast as possible, in that case... 3x outbreak never was meta, you want to have nuke builts (before final shape 3x strand titen and now 3x consencration titan). If you have a look at all gm records who actually abuse the "META" u will always see what i just called out besides maybe a few exceptions like pre nerf lucky pants stasis hunter for "the corrupted gm". Also u can never call outbreak meta because it never got nerved, people just saw that consencration titan is way better than 3 double primary warlocks lol, so you cant call 3x outbreak "most effective" since consencration titan was availabe at all times, people just didnt had classitems nor knew exactly what gm meta would look like

@@SilberKomet Almost nobody is out there farming GMs with 3 consecration titans. I said outbreak meta because people farm GMs with different classes. Hunters are literally the most used classes, so it makes sense consecration isn't the most abundant meta. So that leaves us with weapons, where outbreak has been meta when pulses are anti-barrier. Obviously some exceptions.

You'd be fine with a Ryzen 7 7800X3D or i9-12900KS btw. I'm pretty excited for the 50 series GPUs next year also. 50 series cards will support DP 2.1 (4K 240hz) since HDMI 2.1/DP 1.4 don't have the bandwidth throughput capabilities atm. 2025 is shaping up to be a very insane leap for tech. The 5080ti will be ridiculous with that Samsung GDDR7 VRAM technology. As for CPU's, Intel certainly has a lot to prove and needs to save face.

hey Esoterickk, Did they change the starting courtyard area or something? it didnt count for platinum rewards so we used to just focus the boss till he left then ran round the left side and went through the door, the reason it didnt count was it was a despawnable area, when you go through the door and up the stairs the courtyard all despawns, unless they changed it in lightfall or TFS it should still be the same as it was in Witch queen and saves a ton of time and res tokens :P

Yesterday I was in that ship using Omnioculus with my Hunter. One of the players decided to shoot the hwole travel, the other one listened to me and did nothing. Well, first one got nuked in 5 seconds, the other one and me survived. Because of that dude constantly shooting while invisible, we eventually got aggroed by all the adds in the swamp and got killed. LFG sure is a mystery.

Alethonym is a primary ammo weapon sure, but it's still competing with specials in damage. That you can use as a primary. Don't discount it's usefulness! (And fun factor) Not to mention he was most likely using Alethonym for the Weaken nade artifact perk, the DoT it does and to get more heavy during the boss fight, where it's actually needed. He also needed anti-barrier, and with this build you only get radiant during ult, so his options were shotguns or scouts. A shotgun isn't worth the special slot it takes here, rendered useless for most of the encounters due to their range, so scout makes sense. After all whatever you use to break barrier here doesn't matter when 99% of shooting is done with Alethonym. Of course he could've ran another build, other weapons/ the radiant melee fragment, but... This worked fine? I don't see the issue. Instead of complaining about his build I would rather hear what you would've ran instead!

since they removed all boss mods its better to use now vorpal instead explosive payload on chelchis, 20% vs 15% body and 9% head. next double stasis reload is a waste, one stasis and one void. reload mod gives +10 reload, 2 only +15, but reload mod has 2nd part that is more important 0.85 reload duration multiplier that reduces even max frenzy 100 reload time to 85%, only fieldprep and feeding frenzy have 0.8, updated alloy mag has 0.9 going to 0.8 from half to empty mag reload. this week stupid fake explosive ammo drops traps so shoot2loot might be better
