@@JonIsJustTooLoud yeah, more than that, I think I'm gonna buy this Edwards Strat guitar from the local store in Cyprus (a seller highly recommended it too). Was gonna buy a US Fender one, but the quality is very much alike if not better.
@michaos1 Жыл бұрын
@@JonIsJustTooLoud UPD: I bought it! It's with a black rosewood on the neck as i prefer but the rest looks the same. Thanks again, your video sold it to me so I didn't do much checks in the store. Too bad they discontinued those and seem not producing more these amazing Strats.

Hurray, a Strat for a change. Put Fender on the headstock and you would never know, until you played it and found it to be better than the original. Excellent spec, good pickups, what more could you ask for? Davis Guitar have even included a link to this video. Thanks for a very tempting demo Jonathan🙂

Hi Jon, I love Strat, I have too many ( shame on me), included a sonic blue. This Edwards is beautiful , looks like a 54 model, but with 69 style pick ups ( at least in my ears )

Excellent playing! What's the difference between this model & the 90 ALM? Anyone know?
@ActionSamuel2 жыл бұрын
For what it’s worth, I think the 90 has Edwards es1 pick ups and slightly different switching options (push push pot, could be wrong). Based on what I’ve read on a few forums the above should be about all that is different

Hi Jon... I'm wondering, is the maple neck 2 pieces or 1 piece? I didn't see the skunk stripe. I once had an older version of Edward 50s strat (93mlt) with a one piece v shape neck that had a skunk stripe for the truss rod insert.
@JonIsJustTooLoud2 жыл бұрын
It could be a 2 piece neck ✌️❤️

Hey Jon, one more question if you don’t mind. Are you familiar with the 90 ALM . It also has a maple neck, and hopefully 9.5 radius, thanks.

Thats a nice sounding guitar the only thing I dont like is the Edwards logo on the headstock which is very plain, some gold or silver accents would be nice and the backplate standing proud of the surface is just pure laziness IMO

The fret processing of Fender Vintera series is the worst. They are over 1300 dollars. If you don't believe, touch their neck and try them. Your fingers will be hurt.

USA made guitars are getting worse, i have tried a number of the newer Fenders, all of them needed work on the frets to make them playable. Way over priced for poor quality control.🤥
@jaymax32013 жыл бұрын
@@Barbarapape However I want any guitar, the neck feeling and the stability of tuning is the most important for me. Of course appearance and sound are also important yes.
@Barbarapape3 жыл бұрын
@@jaymax3201 What i find unacceptable is that you have to do far too much work on guitars costing over $1000 just to make them play as they should. A simple tweak to the setup should be all that is needed, but not to level and polish the frets, recut the nut etc.
