I love that colour and the tones are sublime. Edwards are top class makers. It’s a good Strat sound. I have two pao Ferro fretboard guitars and I found them a little soft on the exterior compared to maple or rosewood but I treated them with the Ronseal garden furniture oil I normally use on my rosewood fretboards and they are now an absolute pleasure to play. Much better resistance to the fingers now. Very interesting video Jon Thanks 😄👍👍

Jon, I really appreciate your skill and approach to evaluation of guitars and their accessories. I would like to see you do a test performance of just one segment of your test in slow motion so I could more readily learn from you. Just a snippet would not detract IMHO but I wonder what others think?

I hope ESP build another Edwards line up, i have a candy red one that sound literally like a surf rock telecaster , except it's a stratocaster copy and a realy good one, i have a little bit of hum but the tone is very high mid and creamy like a vintage Fender one.

It sounds good, but i have to agree with the comments below regarding the truss rod adjustment, and the Pau Ferro fretboard and vintage style tuners. All reasons to say it's not for me. The Sire Larry Carlton S7 has a better spec and far lower price, i have one and would reccomend them to anyone looking for a well made Strat. Thanks for your "magic fingers" demo Jonathan

Its a nice looking and sounding guitar but having to remove the neck to make a trussrod adjustment is a no no IMO, taking the neck off and finding you have made an inaccurate adjustment and then having to go through the whole process again would drive me mad!
