Regarding the JM-I coming out after the JM-II, Josh explains the naming scheme in a video he did when his JM-II first came out. Basically the name is supposed to be a play on the name of their M-II model, since his sig is modeled after that. JM + M-II = JM-II. Since the new one only has a single pickup, now it's like the M-I hence the JM-I. Hope that makes sense.

I won’t lie, I get so excited when I see a new Rob Arnold video. I also appreciate the diversity of content whether it’s a tutorial, a review on gear, fucking band practice. It’s great what you’ve done with your channel.

the hipshot "high mass" is a retrofit bridge for the Ibanez Gibraltar "high mass" bridge, AMAZING fixed bridge, and very cool to see other companies using them!

the Gibraltar bridge is an unbelievable bridge. every fixed bridge should be one

In my opinion, they should bring back the RA 600. I have one, and I’d buy a couple more. Either the Mustaine V models or the regular V’s with a Floyd, not just the Arrows. And please, not for this astronomical price! Greetings from Berlin ✌🏻

I’m with you on that M-1000, the ESP standard version made years back with EMG Josh plays and it’s kinda rare.
@sebastiancordero2378 сағат бұрын
I have the exact model you're talking about, I got it because of Josh too! I do think they're gonna lose value with this new model though
@Echoes-8 сағат бұрын
@@sebastiancordero237 No one who is interested in a real made in Japan ESP M-II will get a Indonesian LTD, so no it will not lose value.

If there's one thing us Cleveland dudes love, it's cars and guitars. When I'm not opening for Chimaira on the weekends, I'm racing figure 8 at Painesville Speedway \m/

Would’ve been really cool if ESP gave you a signature model to celebrate this 50th anniversary. I would buy that. Also me and you liked the same guitar, I want that m-1000 as well.

I'll give ESP credit, their branded pickups are actually pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised when I got a lower end Viper. I mean, I still swapped em out, but ya know...

Was really hoping they would release some Alexi 600's. Pinky or greeny with SS frets would have me so excited! But the arrow lineup looks sick

I've always been a classic rock and blues sort of player, though I listen to metal and whatnot. I thought Floyds were dumb. I've always been a Fender Stan... but after watching some of your videos (Chimaira rules), I bought a Jackson Pro Plus Dinky, and I love it. My next purchase will likely be an LTD. Thank you for teaching me a lot.

A few models caught my eye. Obviously as a Slipknot fan the MT-1 has my attention. That Bold Binding MH1000 is nice too. I like the multiple silverburst/grayburst models they have. I think that's a killer guitar finish.

Thanks Rob! I was hoping you were going to do a vid like this. For me…. Josh’s guitar stole the show. Steph’s 8 string yellow beast is insane! I kinda dig the black EX I assume the eii range will come out later this year…. ? 🫵😃
@JacobNates9 сағат бұрын
MSV and M1000 were my picks! Hope to see some E2 and basses later this year. Seems like a lot of this lineup was tailored for people wanting stripped down riff machines with a classic vibe rather than the Floyd Rose shredder guitars. Also I think it’s kind of crazy they didn’t do one for Joe Duplantier! Gojira had the largest audience of arguably any metal band this year, so it feels like a missed opportunity to not capitalize on that as soon as possible

I love ESP, and appreciate your positive attitude Rob. I was a bit disappointed with the offerings this year, I feel like other brand such as Solar, Kiesel, Jackson, and Ibanez are doing more to keep the brand relevant. Flagship models are also great for brands, and ESP seems to have really limited inventory and selection when it comes to premium offerings. Perhaps ESP is making a market correction, and trying to brand itself as a mid-tier budget offering. That’s fine, but it’s such a competitive market in this segment…Solars will cost less for similar quality LTD models.

In some video Josh said that JM-II is like ESP M-II model name combined with his name, so we have JM-II (because that guitar is based on M-II model). I assume JM-I is based on ESP M-I model.

I was really hoping for some more E-II M-II or Horizon options, and crazy idea, maybe even with the ESP logo back on the headstock. But hey might be an excuse to finally get an ESP Custom or some other import from Japan. :)

JM-II two pickups? JM-I 1 pickup?
@AWMJoeyjoejoe10 сағат бұрын
I think the reason that granite sparkle 7 string looks familiar is because it's basically identical to an E-II model thats been out a few years. The only difference I can see is the pickup rings.

Maybe the Jm2 is a two pickup and the jm1 is one pickup?
@ericsmith66336 сағат бұрын

I love ESP but to charge 2100 Euros including vat for Single pickup MT is a joke........ and then 2600 including vat for the RZK........... that's E-II prices...... I heard Mick say he wanted kids to be able to pick it up and get started.......

The LTD pricing is absolutely out of control. I refuse to pay USA prices for import guitars, personally.
@MetalKillsRap210 сағат бұрын
They need to make more 22 fret models. 24 is too much and takes the neck pickup out of the sweet spot
@andrewbecker370011 сағат бұрын
The trends seem on. But the overall astetic of most models. Is kinda blah. Too much black. When I think of killer ESP/LTD guitars. They're usually fairly flashy. With sharp lines, and contrasting colors. Not at all a fan of the string through bodies with no tailpiece. They look cheap. Its gotta be hipshot or stoptail. The 50th anniversary goldtop is awesome. But the color is off. Way too metallic. Gold paint is better off left simple. The Tokai with P90's that John Cordy has. Is my holy grail guitar. Perfection. Peace!

There are some cool guitars but not a fan of sand-blasted woodgrain. I like the purple one but not the teardrop headstock. I love an archtop. That new Mick and Josh models are killer.

I think the black headstock on the MT-1 pops the black bridge and Pickup. The RKZ isn't for me either. The JM is sick but would prefer it with a fixed bridge. Not a fan of the ALR headstock. Silver blast MEH but Baritone Yes M201HT looks decent for 550 for sure ! CSII not a fan AW-xj7 cool finish with the sand blasted ET , but 7 im out M1000 is sick with the maple !!! EC-2025 NAH same with the AS-1FR not my style either MSV-1 love the single pickup and gold appointments , little too shreddy for me SC608 Nope lol way out of my league M-1007 love the sparkle finish! MH-1000NT BB Nah, WA-Warbird is cool looking but that graphic you need to be all about it , EC01FT nope, TE1007 not a baritone guy but it looks decent , Have the TE-1000 Deluxe in Snow white (same one you demod) LOVE IT Phoenix Not for me , Arrow Not for me but sick af EC 256 not a fan of that finish SN 1 HT Dig that! single PUP and Vol sick!!! EC 201 seems cool for the price same with the EX 201, SN And TE201 also look good for value ,

The MT-1 should be call Mask Metallic. The body of the guitar is supposed to look like his mask, and that's why the headstock is black.
