I can’t believe the media is still flirting with this🤦🏾♂️ Year 21 and they’re still asking what Lebron needs to do to “pass” Jordan or what “if” Lebron beats Denver this year and gets number 5. It’s always if if if! Constantly moving the goal posts and over looking countless Prime sweeps and playoff meltdowns.

Funny thing is, even if AD is the best player in that series and LA wins, they will say LeBron did it.

Lebron needed to build a dynasty with his own two hands to pass Jordan. If he had built a team in Cleveland and stayed there and turned them in to a team for the history books he’d have an argument. Seeing as that can’t happen now the answer is there is NOTHING he can do to pass Jordan. The nba will be so much better off when this clown finally retires and the media are forced to focus on literally anyone else.

The only way LeBron can "pass" MJ as the greatest is if he goes back in time and plays better. LeBron's records are only due to him staying in the league for so long.

If you were to swap around the players in my Tier 2 in any order, then I’d accept that because all of them have an argument to be the number 2 all time, but being number 2 is still an enormous gap from being on Michael Jordan’s level.

“Michael Jordan played against plumbers. He’s not even top 10.” 🤣 LeRoid Dames only defeated TikTokers, DoorDashers, KZbinrs, podcasters, and YMCA players playing in Venice Beach jacking deep 3s. He’s not a top 1000. He needed to form a superteam in Miami to beat an old af Celtics team. 😂 And steroids to defeat all these 2010s/2020s losers looking at their phones and scrolling through their social media feeds all day. TikTokers and DoorDashers are worse than plumbers. Plumbing is a real job and actually pays much better. So MJ played against Larry Plumber, Magic Plumber, Isiah Plumber, Clyde Plumber, Charles Plumber, Shaquille Plumber, and Kobe Plumber. No relation to Jake Plummer, Amanda Plummer, and the Mario Bros. 1990s Plumbers - Hakeem Olajuwon Shaquille O’Neal Karl “The Plumber” Malone Charles Barkley Clyde Drexler David Robinson Patrick Ewing John Stockton Older Larry Bird Older Magic Johnson Older Isiah Thomas Older Kevin McHale Old af Robert Parish Old af Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Old af Julius Erving Old af Moses Malone Younger Kobe Bryant Younger Kevin Garnett Younger Allen Iverson Younger Ray Allen Younger Steve Nash Younger Tracy McGrady Younger Stephon Marbury Rookie Tim Duncan Penny Hardway in his prime Grant Hill in his prime Bernard King in his prime Dominique Wilkins Adrian Dantley James Worthy Chris Webber Gary Payton Shawn Kemp Reggie Miller Tim Hardaway Jason Kidd Alonzo Mourning Derrick Coleman Larry Johnson Kevin Johnson Dennis Rodman Joe Dumars Brad Daugherty Mark Price Dan Majerle Mitch Richmond Chris Mullin Detlef Shrempf Mark Jackson Jamal Mashburn Jim Jackson Jalen Rose Latrell Sprewell Allan Houston MJ also schooled OJ Mayo at the age of 43 who can dribble with either hand as well as Kobe and Kyrie. As an old man, he dropped Vince from a crossover. It’s on KZbin. He went H2H against Kobe, T-Mac, and Pierce in some of those games. He dropped 40 with Kenyon Martin and Richard Jefferson guarding him. I guess all the NBA players from 1980s-2000s (THREE DECADES) were all plumbers then. The Dream Teamers who MJ destroyed in that Monte Carlo scrimmage were all a bunch of plumbers. While that overrated 2008 Redeem Team which nobody watched that Netflix doc could barely handle Spain because they were too little. By the 00s, elite bigs went extinct. Dwight Howard would not be a top 10 center in the 90s. Olajuwon, Shaq, Robinson, Ewing, Mourning, Mutombo, Daugherty, Parish, Sabonis, and Smits were all better. Then the 2006 FIBA team with LeBron, DWade, and Melo went lebronze like LeBron did in the Olympics in 2004. Team USA needed Kobe to redeem themselves. Anthony Edwards will go down as the 2nd greatest player of all-time. He’s actually playing in a similar era as Jordan when bigs rule the league. He’s going to fly over Jokic, Giannis, Embiid, and AD like Jordan did to Shaq, Olajuwon, Ewing, Robinson, Mourning, and Mutombo. Plumbers? That’s funny. Every star before 2000 were plumbers then. Those 00s stars like Duncan and Kobe couldn’t beat those Utah plumbers in 1998. Jazz went 4-1 against the Spurs and 4-0 against the Lakers. Kobe shot four airballs in 1997 while Jordan was winning a title for UNC at the same age. Kobe didn’t hit a game winner until Year 4. LeBron didn’t hit a memorable game winner until Year 6. From 1992-1998 which includes playoff games, Jordan defeated Shaq 13-6. What did that Shaq Plumber do after MJ retired a second time in January 1999? Once Lakers got Phil, he went on a threepeat. Just like it wasn’t time for the 90s stars to win rings in the 80s, the 00s stars didn’t win in the 90s yet until the Bulls broke up. I like how Jordan played against plumbers while an unathletic white boy named Austin Reaves gives problems to this new generation of mentally weak players. Giannis can’t even shoot as well as Olajuwon, Robinson, Ewing, and Mourning and he’s considered a top 2 player today. Jordan is responsible for Kobe, Kawhi, KD, DWade, and Ant’s careers. But I guess he has no influence. Keep calling them plumbers. Your favorite player in your life will still never measure up to Jordan. They will always be looking up to him in stature. Crying memes and dumb Reddit posts will never negate his stature as the G.O.A.T.

If winning in three different franchises made you the GOAT then why hasn’t anyone else ever tried to do it before now? Why was there no narrative before this saying if you win a championship to switch teams afterwards because more rings in the same place don’t matter? I’ll tell you why: This argument that three championships on three different teams made you the GOAT was NEVER what people cared about or argued before Lebron did it. These Lebron fans don’t have a standard for the GOAT beforehand and then see if Lebron reaches it. No they look at what Lebron already did and THEN argue that that should be enough to be the GOAT. If Lebron was the first player to run up and down the court 10 million times they would add that to the criteria for being the GOAT.

The main reason why Jordan will forever trump LeBron is Jordan kept other greats of his time from being champions. Once Jordan ate, NOBODY else ate. Damn near every great of this era has a championship besides Chris Paul and LeBron wasn’t the one to stop him, Giannis was. Once I bring this up to LeBron stans they have no words.
@urbaindelva78696 ай бұрын
The problem with that statement is that it credits an INDIVIDUAL player for preventing other INDIVIDUAL players from achieving a TEAM accomplishment. Jordan ALONE did not prevent other greats from being champions; the Bulls as a whole, led by him, prevented them from being champions. Even then, losing to them did not end their chances of winning. Hakeem, who Jordan and the Bulls never faced, won back-to-back titles after the Bulls' first 3-peat, the second one being in the same year the Bulls were a second round exit after Jordan returned. Clyde Drexler, who lost to Jordan and the Bulls with the Blazers in the '92 Finals, was Hakeem's co-star for the Rockets' second title run. Gary Payton, who lost to Jordan and the Bulls in the '96 Finals, and Alonzo Mourning, who lost to Jordan and the Bulls in the '97 ECF, both won the '06 championship with the Heat. Great players never truly stop other great players from getting theirs, especially if they have not faced each other or are in no position to do so. LeBron has stopped other greats of this era from getting theirs, but they were gonna get theirs at some point or another whether or not he was in their way. You're basically criticizing him because his contemporaries are as great as him, which is stupid.

ESPN asked a question between who to pick for the final shot between Steph, MJ, and Kobe? Um, it’s not tough. Game-winning shots to end a series - Jordan: 3 (NCAA is excluded) Kobe: 0 Steph: 0 Game-winning shots in Finals - Jordan: 2 Kobe: 0 Steph: 0 Excluding the game-tying shot MJ hit in 1991 over Vlade or the three Kobe hit to tie it against Detroit in 2004 to send it to OT. Game-winning means they won the game with that specific shot. Most game-winning buzzer beaters - Jordan: 10 Kobe: 9 Steph: 2 I would take Larry Bird over Kobe and Steph for game-winning shots. Kobe was very much a VOLUME scorer. I saw him take maybe 100 potential game winners and he’ll make about 30% of them. While Steph simply chokes and blowing that 3-1 lead in 2016 will always taint his career. Jordan is the GOAT Finals/playoffs performer. He was more efficient than Kobe and Steph in game-winning situations. Never blew a 3-1 lead. He never lost a game when a title or gold medal was on the line. He’s 10-0 in them. 1982: 🏆 1983: 🏅 1984: 🏅 1991: 🏆 1992: 🏆 1992: 🏅 1993: 🏆 1996: 🏆 1997: 🏆 1998: 🏆 MJ = GOAT I’m not betting against the GOAT.

The numbers are getting closer. In 2020 (right after The Last Dance documentary was released), the ESPN poll numbers for OVERALL BETTER/OVERALL GOAT was 73% for Michael Jordan and 27% for LeBron James. It’s interesting that 10% was taken from Michael Jordan and 10% was given to LeBron James. Now the current ESPN Poll is 63% for Michael Jordan and 37% for LeBron James. Do not be surprised if LeBalco Raymone James sticks around long enough for the next poll to be 53% for Michael Jordan and 47% for LeBron James. I am disappointed that either ESPN is manipulating the numbers or perhaps legitimately more sports fans have left the Michael Jordan camp and now believe LeBron James to be greatest player of all-time. But if LeBron James wins his 5th NBA World Championship in the 2024 NBA Finals, then the ESPN poll numbers may suddenly jump to 50% for MJ and 50% for LeBron, or even worse, 47% for Michael Jordan and 53% for LeBron James. Of course I don’t like it, but I can’t pretend that their agenda isn’t working and I can’t deny who has more momentum. If the EPO, ESPN, and the Mind for the Game works, then there isn’t much that Michael Jordan fans, nor any of us on KZbin will be able to do to stop it. Smh. 🤦♂️🤦♂️

I don’t care if LeBron James wins 20 more NBA World Championship rings, just as long as LeBalco Raymone James doesn’t win his 5th ring in this 2023-2024 NBA Finals. And then we can all forever say that both Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant won their respective 5th (FIFTH) NBA World Championship rings in their AGES 30s, and LeBron James won his 5th (FIFTH) NBA World Championship ring in his AGES 40s. Jordan won his 5th ring at AGE 34/YEAR 12, Kobe won his 5th ring at AGE 31/YEAR 13, and LeBron has only 4 rings at AGE 39/YEAR 21. Then more people will start moving LeBron James from his current All-Time 2nd-Place position to legitimately out of their TOP-5 All-Time list. 🔥

Every argument for LeBron is ridiculous. He had a 60+ win team his 1st stint in cleveland 😂😂😂 They were title contenders, had home court advantage throughout the playoffs, and were favorites to get to the finals. No one wants to bring up LeBron's turnovers, bad defense or missed free throws in the playoffs against Boston and the magic. Instead the media wants to blame Mo Williams. Like they blame Chris Bosh and Wade, Kevin love, Anthony Davis, Westbrook and now D-Lo. The refs literally tried to help the Lakers win and they still sucked
