In my mind, Dirk will always be better than Lebron. He wasn't blessed with the raw physical gifts that Lebron had, he moved across the ocean to a foreign land and stuck it out with many, many different players around him, yet stayed with the team that drafted him. He fought valiantly and lost to D-Wade and Shaq, but kept grinding, getting better and better, improving his signature one-foot shot and always hitting clutch free throws and 3s. His win against the Miami Heat Super Team in 2011 was not only the pinnacle of his illustrious career, but also the mark of Lebron's downfall in the eyes of true basketball fans everywhere.
