It never happend due to a change of direction but when I was in college my dad took me out to dinner with a business partner of his that worked at a high profile, wall street firm. @@jmoore0386 absolutely not, but it’s been the reality of life for who knows how long and it will always be the reality of life. I remember being in the 5th grade I just moved to a different part of town and I tried out for This little league Travel Baseball team and although I was better than 90% of the other kids I didn’t make the team because the other kids parents all knew each other, they all knew the Coaches. I was confused and sad but I remember my Dad telling me unfortunately that’s how life works, it’s politics and connections. The next year I made a team that mostly consisted of the kids who were cut and weren’t known and we played the same team I was cut by and beat them 10-2 and I had 2 inside the park home runs, a great overall game. That always stuck with me and I knew at 10-11 yrs old life wasn’t fair, but to never complain about it and never give up.
