How can you even function normally after an event like this? It really takes a lot of courage and a strong mind to get back on the court! Hats off to you Kyle. It's inspirational. On his return game, when he shot that 3 pointer, and he acknowledged the pass, he was going through the toughest time of his life. A lot of us saw that live, but at that point we had no idea what he was going through.

Had a similar situation but the doctors said my dad was going to be fine after being administered to the hospital for stomach problems. So we continued forward with our family trip (he was staying behind to look after our rabbit). The next day we get a call to the hotel saying my dad got administered to ICU on life support after getting a superbug in the hospital. A couple days later he passed away. It’s been nearly 10 years to the day. Nobody deserves to go through something like that. I was 12 then and unlike Kyle I didn’t really get to know my dad as I was being a stupid young adolescent kid who only really cared about having fun and hanging out with friends. Your life can flash before your eyes at anytime. I think about what could have been every day and hope I’m making my dad proud. I don’t want to sound corny or anything but I choose to try to remember the good times.. the times of joy, comfort and laughter. In a world full of hate and a world full of heartache, please know there is always something you can smile about. Use it as your motivation to chase what you love and with the right people around you the world is at your hands. May your brother Rest In Peace Kyle and cherish the memories with your brother and keep your family and friends close. Fate hurts but remember to hope cze things change but the memories don’t.
