A lot of people somehow forget that a huge amount of the best wrestlers of all time got their start as footballers. That iron will, drive to be the best, tough-centric mindset produced (and still produces) some of the most adored champions and some of the most vilified villains. Crazy as it is to say, but when it comes to pro wrestling, only amateur wrestling is a better basis for going into pro wrestling than football is. And even that is debatable. Love both sports.
