@tibbz98696 жыл бұрын
GucciArzola false. i literally start off saying the things he says that were redundant and then i double downed on points he made that i felt were valid
@knightoyin65006 жыл бұрын
@ GucciArzola..You asked, here is your answer: 1. Comparing Trump to Lebron on giving their opinions on political issues is the very definition of false equivalence, because Trump made educated and sensible comments when he was a private citizen. Some were controversial but they were not just idle insults. Go back and watch his videos from the 80s, he made simple, direct and common sense comments on policies, that no one is government could really dispute, which was why Oprah asked him if he thought about Running for President. He never criticized a policy without giving his own opinion which was usually better. Lebron did NOT do any of that. Lebron's take on Trump was nonsensical and shallow. It had and made NO sense. How will Lebron feel if the people he is working hard to help tell him he really doesn't care about any of them? That is exactly what he said about Trump. His comment was false and lacking in sense. 2. Lebron has always insulted Trump. He went to the extent of calling him a BUM. Can you tell me what Lebron called Obama when he screwed up and put America at a disadvantage? NOTHING!!! He sucked up to the man! Why is Lebron's insult and attacks on President Trump not considered racist, but when a white person replies it is AUTOMATICALLY called racism? Intellectual and ideological weakness on the left is what makes them play the victim card ones they are called out on their illiteracy, ignorance and hypocrisy! 3. I agree with Laura Ingram because Lebron wasn't constructive in his criticism of this president and that sets a bad example for the entire following he claims to have. If you are going to criticize Trump, do what he did: Tell us your own opinion on a policy you don't like and explain to us why you think your solution is better for America with facts, figures and statistics. Don't take personal shots at the president and when it is returned you run into a corner and cry racism, racism, racism. I don't care who speaks out about politics, but have an educated, coherent and comprehensive solution to issues not cheap insults or better still shut up and dribble! 4. Lebron is a talented basketballer and has made hundreds of millions of dollars, so giving out millions to charity doesn't make him a saint or above criticism especially when he opens his mouth in such a disgraceful manner. He is worthy of praise but by no means untouchable. His charity will do better by the way if he works with the government, but he is too full of hate to try that! 5. Those supporting Lebron are part of the problem. They simply cannot think constructively about solutions, which is why the black community is behind the Jews, Asians, Latinos and everyone else in wealth and influence. Most of Black America simply cannot think critically and this is yet another proof. 6. LOL..A Smith claiming lebron will get 62 million votes because of his following online was yet the most ridiculous thing he said. Please run for office Lebron. You will get destroyed and none of your online followers will be able to save you. Lebron for president? Oh my, please run. Actually I need more of these celebrities to run so that they can quickly show the world how just been a popular figure is NOT enough to win anyone the presidency. They seem to think that was all Trump was about. They forget that you need a message and many of these celebrity clowns who whine have NOTHING! Please Run ya'll, Please RUN!!! 7. Ingram didn't do this for ratings. She called out Lebron like she does every other persons in the public eye who makes less than intelligent or blatantly ignorant comments. PS: This was a long rant. For anyone who reads, please forgive the errors. I was in a hurry but I am sure you get my points!

Aquinas 200 perception is reality though. So if you tell yourself that the comment this woman made about LBJ isn't ignorant than that's anyone's lost when it pertains to what LBJ has done in the community alone. Which is way more than what she has contributed to America..... Her comments were made personal due to her beliefs so she made her case even more ignorant to come after him even though he was speaking facts. You might just want to watch the video again homie. Stephen A. did this final take very well I'm only speaking on this one in particular that's all. You know he's right.

Leo Quintana you are probably not well informed. Trump has the black unemployment rate to record lows and got tax reform done where I am seeing more money in my paycheck, obama has not done anything and let’s get the obvious out the way that KD and Lebron loves obama because he is black ignoring the fact that he was atrocious as president tripling the national debt and did not help out the black community. Smh
@mauricehorton94246 жыл бұрын
Edwin Colon that’s because Republicans vowed to block anything Obama tried to do. Trump can damn near do anything he wants cuz republicans can pass legislation. Not even the same. And it’s a difference between lowering unemployment (which started with Obama by the way) with good jobs & any job. Obama was attempting to lowering the rate with higher quality jobs. Democracy is accomplished by the House & Senate; not a dictatorship accomplished by 1 person.
@edwincollins58476 жыл бұрын
maurice horton you see you are taking the talking points you get from the liberal media. About how it started with obama which is bullshit. In time that notion is going to go away like everything else that began from trumps inauguration. It doesn’t take 8 years to stimulate an economy. Obamacare the majority never wanted and you get a heavy penalty if you get under it. This year for me it would have been $698 when doing my taxes. Obama had both the senate and congress and still couldn’t get anything done. Again please do more research. Russian collusion myth would be coming to a close and later on we will be reflecting on Obama’s presidency when democrats are done yelling coming up with more excuses. Obama was a horrible president. But he seems like a chill guy though
@trulyreal16106 жыл бұрын

@heathhersom65796 жыл бұрын
The only thing that rubs me the wrong way about athletes/couches publicly spuing out their political beliefs is (1) It's usually a opinion/accusations that rarely supported by facts. (2) A large portion of sports viewerships are young kids and young adults that are still trying to figure out where they lie on the political spectrum. Then you have organizations like ESPN who un doubtedly cater to the left. I'd say the same if athletes and ESPN were open about their conservative beliefs as well. BUT the big caveat to all of that is, if a conservative player on a team came out and supported a guy like Trump he/she would be publicly crucified and deemed a racist. Thanks bias media..
@omarfoote57776 жыл бұрын
Hershdawg5 so Tom Brady gets crucified. Everyone is entitled to voice their opinion. The fact that this woman tries to devalue anyone that doesn't agree with what she agrees with does not make them wrong. If you listen to what he said none of it was really even about his politics but more about his character.
@heathhersom65796 жыл бұрын
Last I checked though Lebron and other athletes have slammed Trump to the media calling him names, a racist, and disagreeing with his political beliefs so why can't she to athletes? It's her job to talk politics and she felt the right to take jabs just like the rest of them. Thats the problem with the left they can say and do anything they want but once they get any kind of push back they play the victim. Thats why you never see conservative athletes speak out because they'd become a punching bag. Athletes can't have it both ways and ESPN can't have their cake and eat it too. If athletes like Lebron want to part of a political movement they should do it on their own time. Through social media or holding private events with their community.
@omarfoote57776 жыл бұрын
Hershdawg5 once again you want to dictate how and when someone speaks or does anything. The fact of the matter is they were nmbeing interviewed and resonded to a question. There was no sporting event involved. Furthermore, I don't have a problem with people responding to others but they were talking about Donald Trump not her and again they were criticizing the man and how he treats people in this country. Most of her response was about their grammar and cursing as if the man she is defending is the most eloquent people. The fact is she and others like her are scared of what will happen when black men express strength and intelligence and leadership so she wants to keep him in his place entertaining the good old boys. Bottom line is no matter what race, occupation, sex or any other thing you can think of we are all aloud to have a voice.
@heathhersom65796 жыл бұрын
(1) I don't care about race and I don't think it applies to this conversation (2) Again it's the athletes choice to speak out on politics I'm not saying they can't what I'm saying is it's not right in my opinion when they have a younger audience that looks up to them and they're essentially persuading them on their own political beliefs rather than developing a opinion on their own. So if they want to do it, do it on their own stage not on a ESPN segment on national television or in BASKETBALL interviews. (3) I already acknowledged that they're answering questions when I blamed the media. (4) Usually when a athlete comments on politics they bring up character rather than anything political which again is all speculation considering I don't think Trump is racist and Lebron does. (5) She has just as much of a right to speak up for Donald Trump as Lebron does talking about Donald Trump. Given the context of what Lebron and other athletes say about Trump and what that women said about Lebron they seem to be on par with one another. Until athletes actually show they have a brain between their ears when it comes to politics and actually bring something other than "questionable character" to the table than it's all he said she said. People act like Hillary Clinton was a saint. I voted for Trump for his politics not his personality. Trump was my last choice from the republican party which gave me no choice but to vote for him.
@omarfoote57776 жыл бұрын
Hershdawg5 let's be clear the character stuff is not he say she say, it's facts. You at just more willing to overlook those issues. Next how do you know what an athlete has to offer if you immediately dismiss them because they are not athletes. As far as you people are concerned this somewhere parents are responsible for guiding their own children. And again her issue is only with those that don't agree with her, that's why she has had several celebrities on talkingher talk. And I don't believe anyone is a saint but Trump is terrible from a moral character standpoint and it is important because of the power he has.

Charles Barkley put it best when he said "LeBron James is LeBron James, who is Laura Ingraham?"..
@sypherd.37716 жыл бұрын
EXACTLY. Everybody wanted to focus on the “shut up and dribble” comments and talk about how she’s said shut up and sing, act, etc so it’s not racist. But nobody was addressing the comments about his grammar and his speaking being barely intelligible. Lebron was speaking in the manner in which he normally speaks as do many African Americans. If she was having trouble understanding what he was saying, it’s more of a statement about HER intelligence level than it is about his.

For the past 15 years, she had told liberals to "shut up and..." its her shtick. She had a best seller, called :Shut up and Sing" that is what she says, If it were Sean Penn, she would say :shut up and act' or Fred Astaire, "shut up and dance" etc, it wasn't racist. Annoying, rude, whiny, yes. but not racist. She has been saying this for 15 yrs, to whites too
