Donovan Edwards earned Offensive Player of the Game by ripping two! of the three longest touchdown runs in CFB history, in the first quarter. You kidding me? Washington only scored 13 points in the entire game. The Don’s second TD was his third touch and the game winner. He had more yards in the 1st quarter than the Huskies did all game. By the time Blake Corum was scoring in the 4th quarter, Michigan was enjoying the benefits of pounding on Washington’s lines all game. He did the same thing to the B*ckeyes last year in the 4th quarter, only they were for 75 yards! and 85 yards!! The Don is an icy-veined killer when it counts the most. Go Blue.

No. Michael Penix is a pocket quarterback who can't move very well outside the pocket and can't throw accurately unless he has time to set up for the throw. Given a solid pocket and time to deliver the ball - he's very good. Collapse the pocket on him, keep him off balance, and make him hurry - he looks really bad because he can't handle the pressure and has no tools (ability to scramble) to bail him out. His rushing average for the year is -0.2 yards per carry - that's right - negative yardage. McCarthy's average for the year is +3.0 yards per carry.

@buckhorncortez none of these qbs can throw unless the have time what are you talking about. Penix can move but he typically hasn't had to and I've seen several games of him throwing through rushes. Michigan defense is just different, it's a reason they were undefeated
