As soon as lagway was QB1 the defense was cohesive and both sides of the ball were doing good. This season w/L ratio doesn’t show how good UF started to become. It was the hardest college schedule with the most top 10 teams to play. They will be dangerous next year for sure

Shout out to Florida for the win, good all around effort. The defense bent at times, but there is a lot of youth and still some injury there. Backs played good, DJ was solid, pass rush was effective especially late, and they got critical stops in the red zone. With DJ playing I feel like Florida can play with anybody. Respect to Mertz, he played hard before his injury, but if a healthy DJ Lagway started from game 1 I think Florida is possibly 9-3. Miami and Texas are the only games I think they would lose for sure, but all the others would be winnable imo. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Don't agree. Up until the last few games, our offense was predictable - 2 ineffectual runs into the line, then a short pass on 3rd and long - and our D would hold for 2 downs then give up 3rd and long. For whatever reason, maybe because Lagway can actually throw a deep ball, that hasn't happened. But I gotta admit that Napier now deserves to come back next year.

What can you say. Sometimes a QB throws an accurate, catchable ball to a receiver that had some space, but it gets picked off because a defender just makes a great play.. But sometimes, that's not what happens at all. Sometimes a QB just pulls a Jaxson Dart, throwing a horrendous ball that's about a light year from the nearest receiver and so directly into a defender's hands that it actually looks like that defender was their target.

When you are on the road you do not pass on kicking those FGs. Ole Miss got what they deserve. Too many coaches these days trying to look smart end up looking dumb. PS: I know that if they have those two FGs they still lose if you add them to the final score but eh that is not how you look at things as momentum was at play and kicking them would have changed how the game went.

You look back now, Florida wants back those Tennessee and Georgia, those are games that they definitely should have won especially the Tennessee one. Regardless, beating back to back ranked teams the last two weeks to me shows what Napier is doing is working. I haven't been his biggest fan, but he's made me eat my words the last two weeks and I'm fine with that.
