I will be frank, his level is the Scotland national team, he is not good enough to play international football, yet is in ahead of other players who are better than him. England clearly needs a creative deep laying midfielder, Bellingham, Rice and Gallagher and box to box midfielders that can only play pysical up and down games but can't control possession, they need someone to control possession like a rodri or kroos, Alexander Arnold can cross the ball accurately but he can't dictate play and string passes, Jordan Henderson was more important than he thought. They need to try Eze or Olise or play both Kane and Watkins and have Kane drop deep like he did at Tottenham.

@@FCBrprendy i also have to mention Benjamin Šeško, he is young but his club score is crazy he is big, he has good ball control and he can score, if he finds the courage to play for nationals like he plays at a club level then Slovenia has a potential "mini Harling" on their side and that creates potential for deadly counter attack since their defense is solid stone and midfield is also good enough to create play, as they have an veteran core with old players who can support the youth. I think in a few years Slovenia will be like Croatia in a sense that they can be a respected international team. As is now they are not, that can be seen from English comentators not mentioning the solid defense of Slovenia and in a match where everybody said it would be 3-0 for England they showed how lacking the English attack is, they set a stone wall and the English couldn't penetrate even with all of their top class players. It really makes no sense why bash the English players insted of admiting that Slovenians wouldn't break and that is praise worthy.

All the teams at the Euros have their deficiencies. Unlike most teams - the biggest deficiency of the England team is progressing the ball intelligently from defensive half to their offensive players - England have the tools to solve them. Wharton and Mainoo are actually very very technical players who can handle the ball well. Wharton sees passes before ball comes to him. Mainoo is a very good ball manipulator. Both of them are actually more suited to possession base games than Jude and Rice. I'd personally play Rice, Wharton/Mainoo, and then Jude/Foden. England who have so much more passes breaking lines with Foden in midfield alongside Wharton/Mainoo. I'd play Saka at left back if shaw is not fit. I'd actually sack Southgate for bringing only one injured lefty fullback into a tournament for England. Play Gordon at LW and Palmer at right. Only big player to drop would then be either of Foden and Bellingham. Bellingham is not a great CM. That's why Real play with Kroos, Tchoameni, and Valverde behind him. Foden is not a CM too but he's just better overall as a midfielder. If you watch City week in, week out, you'd know Bellingham is not in the same bracket talent wise.
