the thing I respected more about Jackson was that earlier Palmer had a 2 vs 1 and took the shot instead of passing to Jackson (every right for Palmer to shoot). Then for the equaliser, Jackson was in the same position and could have done the same thing but he wasn't petty and gave the pass as it was the best play. That impressed me more than any goal

Even the best players will miss chances (Messi and Henry share the record for the most missed pens in Champions League history) and do the wrong thing. Anyway, I wouldn't worry because he's improved a lot over the past 12 months and there's no evidence to suggest he won't keep improving. I think he can be one of the best in the league (numbers are already there tbh). He has 4 goals and 3 assists in 6 league matches ffs

Those saying Cole Palmer will be found this out season did not know he would be moved to midfield. And even if he does get found out, which he will because he cannot function if he has a player on his shoulder and only the better teams do this efficiently, so what; firstly because being a threat is still a big contribution and secondly his weakness is not attack, it's being a defensive liability and that is why playing a big team or against the best players that can ensure he has a man on his shoulder is a big problem. In that situation they keep him out of the attacking game with just one player being occupied to do the job unlike great players who need 2 players on them to do the job, and you have his defensive liability taken advantage of them resulting in the leaking of goals. Putting that aside, I always said his strongest position was in the middle and not on the wings, where he is less of a defensive liability and so can do his thing with his defensive shortfall reduced, but also have more attempts on goal. And this is why Pochettino for not working this out had no one to blame, but himself, for losing his job. Peace and love
