Congrats on getting the prospectus submitted. I found mine a great exercise even though my dissertation project has deviated significantly. I wish my advisor had told me that this is not uncommon before I panicked and had a minor breakdown the summer after advancing to candidacy. In my program, we have a grad seminar in which we complete the prospectus just before exams.
