Now that’s a gathering of some great guys! I did a 16 day 175 mile AT section hike that included the section y’all were on and in a hammock. Thanks for the video!

Another great video! I also want to say thanks for keeping it real! Showing “mistakes” or issues while on trail gives less experienced hikers a little bit more confidence when they see more experienced hikers having issues and then having to change their plans. Keep up the great work!

@JerimiahStringer You were right at Vogel State Park. We go there to test out new equipment. If you ever have to bail again and are in the area, that’s a nice campground. Love Mt Crossings. Nice gear and friendly staff. Also had BBQ at the same restaurant.

Jeremy Stringer wears Crocs with Socks ….gosh it’s good to feel so vindicated on a tuesday morning 😂 a lot of those hacks i already do but a new one for me was keeping my tee shirt in my cooler with my cold beer … it helped with the insulation and both my beer and and shirt were cool … very welcome after a hot and sticky 4 day trip …. looked like a fun car camping trip with the fellas … you gotta do it sometimes right !!?! 😂👍

It was a blast. Good thinking on the beer keeping it insulated

Awesome hacks Jeremiah! I also use the "stuff-sack sack" method for organization. It would be awesome to be able to go on a trip with you guys, as I am subscribed to all of your channels! Would you guys ever be open to planning a trip for viewers to join in? That would be so cool. I met the Pinhoti Mafia at Pinhoti Fest this year and thought that they would be a blast to camp/hike with.

Sure thing! We have been doing a meetup at Red River Gorge every year Friday-Sunday at the end of the first full week of October. I think next years is October 11-13

A thought on the breaking wood on trees. I have done this my entire life. Like 40+ years. But just this last summer I noticed a pretty good gouge I left in the bark of the tree. I am going to try to stop doing it. Not judging or telling others what to do, just giving thoughts. Having a sweet treat and a change of clothes waiting for you at the end of the trail are both pro moves (I also have a sack of sacks! :) ). Good stuff, subbed.

The water haul stinks but thankfully you got to drop weight by setting up camp. The change of clothes for the long drive is a good one.

Drink a one quart Gatorade on the walk out so you have a nice widemouthed pee-bottle for the night. Tear the label off so you do not accidentally use it for drinking again. Never trust an empty Gatorade bottle on the second day.
@JeremiahStringer Жыл бұрын
That’s a great idea

Put an elastic band or similar to make it easier to find the pee bottle by touch. Once on, don't take the band off.

My hack that I have after a multiday hike/camp trip is to keep some baby wipes and a change of clean clothes in the car ,that way I don't smell like a pair of dirty underwear on the ride home.
