Great outdoors preparedness kit. I personally always carry some paracord or rope (great for if a shoe lace breaks, first aid, emergency rescue, shelter making etc). Tip for the bladder hose water, I hold the nozzle above my head and squeeze to get the water back in the insulated pack if I'm not drinking water every few minutes.

@elgringoec4 жыл бұрын
Cheers, guys! You got some great eye candy there, great scenery and drone video. Nice job packaging it all up, too! 👏 We've gone on two hiking expeditions this spring with our daughter and grandkids. Less risky than getting groceries. Yes, we've been through Sedona, with our friends from Flagstaff. The place is a ghost town in the winter. We went down lower to Cottonwood to ride. It's like a story book picture land. I'm a dirt bike rider but yeah been over the handlebars of my mountain bike a couple of times... Dirt bikes are more stable! I like that you recorded and showed your ride stats. Our daughter installed all trails. Me, I use Hiking Upward in the web browser. I installed maps.me and downloaded the databases before our Cuba trip and yes they had every cow trail included - we walked so much back country there! Not to mention some city street exploration. Your boot fix reminded me when my wife's sandal bottom came loose and started flopping around🤐 - we took only chacos - and we found a pleasant guy in the town who glued and sewed it back on while we talked about stuff with him and his friends who were hanging around. The way I avoid "tube water" is gently blow the water back into the bladder after each drink. Then I draw nice cool bladder water each time. I don't use sunscreen. If I'm going to be out all day in direct sunlight for extended periods I'll cover areas hit the hardest (neck and shoulders and upper back primarily). I'm a firm believer in my body making its own vitamin D and I don't even want to know what's in that sunscreen concoction. I do know how I feel great after being out soaking up some sunlight! That glittering rock formation did have something special about it... 😋 Really impressed by that portable shower arrangement. Love how you just pull it out, clip up the curtain, and violá. I guess the base collects the water then you dump it? Can you hook up a hose to drain it to the grey water tank? Will the shower head reach outside so you can shower outdoors? (If you covered all that in one of your build videos, please link if you would) 😄 God bless you guys! 👍💪😍🤗🌞🍻☮️

Thanks for sharing your experience! We love the flagstaff and Sedona areas. Great to hear you now have those handy apps installed. Yes, we love the shower and dispose of the great water appropriately and can also extend the shower head to shower out the side door. 2 in 1 combo! 👍 Stay healthy!
