Thank you very much for these series of videos on commonly used Levantine verbs.However, you pronounce the past tense of drink in English basically the same as the present tense but your spelling is correct (drank).As a native English speaker I detected it immediately.The letter "a" in drank must be clearly pronounced to distinguish it from drink.I am learning a lot of Lavantine Arabic from you and perhaps you can pick up a few English tips from me.Shukran.

She is a native English speaker. Her pronunciations are okay to my ear but I could understand why you'd think it sounds like "drink"

Hi Talia! Can we use "barra" instead of "the world" to say outside?"lamma bitkun barra shob bashrab e ktir mayy"?I never actually understood how this language works. Could you explain,please,why there are used different ways of saying when there's a word for each of them? :)

Sze - you can use barra as well in this context :)
