Hello, I'm from India :) I was suffering from Lower Leg Pain for a few months because I had put on some excess weight and hadn't exercised for a while. I was afraid the Pain would cripple me and make me unable to walk. I tried Neem Oil Baths for a few days with quite skepticism and it actually worked wonders. Today, My Pain is all gone and I actually feel like I'm way younger now and much energetic. Just dropping this for someone who suffers from same kind of ailment as me, Thought it would help you, Peace !

Thank you for these videos, Dr. Axe. I just subscribed. I have been using oils for years but am now seriously using them consistently to help with sleep, mild anxiety and overall health instead of just for enjoyment of the scents. It is always difficult to verify what companies are truly 100% pure EO so if anyone has brands that are exceptional prices I am all ears. I have some doTerra (pricey) and also use NOW brand, Aura Cacia and some Vitacost brands. Most with good success but always nice to try new ones to compare. My current favorite blend is Ylang-Ylang, Lime,Clary-Sage and Frankisence for calm/sleep mixed with carrier oil to roll on before bed or throughout day.

However, I am not a native speaker and many of the oil or supplement that you mention are difficult for me to get the exact spelling in order to google them as you suggest. I would like to ask you if you could consider writing with bullet points your lecture behind you on the board as does dr Burg - so that people like me could understand and take notes in order to implement the great advice and info you are giving. I will be really very happy to use this knowledge if I could understand everything. Just a suggestion. The main and important things one should do, the products /food we should use or avoid etc.

@SonofGodly8 жыл бұрын
+Alicia Davidson If you are a coffee drinker ,,do not drink any after 3;00 pm This caffeine might over ride the oils.
@SeanWilliams908 жыл бұрын
You won't be hurt by using them undiluted "straight" so long as you aren't overdoing it. One or two drops is usually enough since these are concentrated usually. Diluting them with an oil like grapeseed oil or coconut oil can help cover a larger area and help the body absorb things better. Diffusing is always an option too and so is consumption. I'd recommend you get a quality essential oils book to help you use oils effectively for you and/or consult a specialist in aromatherapy.

Is it better to diffuse the oil or put it on your skin? What diffuser do you recommend
@SeanWilliams908 жыл бұрын
Depends on your tolerance level for strong scents, and how sensitive your skin is to things. Essential oils are concentrated usually, so a little goes a long way in a carrier oil like coconut, olive, or grapeseed oil when applied on the skin. You would only want to start diffusing with a few drops of concentrated oils in distilled water and add more drops until you find your ideal level that helps in diffusing. You'll get benefits either way you go. Everyone has different needs and their bodies respond differently to different stimuli. Does that answer your question?
@aromatherapywithsteven65018 жыл бұрын
Hey Ali O, I recommend using the home diffuser from Young Living Essential oils because it is a humidifier, air purifier, atomizer, and aromatherapy diffuser all in one. You can save money by getting a starter kit, which comes with 11 essential oils, a diffuser, sample packets of oils, roller ball fitment, and instructions. In addition, I recommend following the instructions on the bottles of Young Living Essential Oils on your skin. In general I apply them like you would cologne, a drop or two on the wrists and then rub your wrists together. Then rub into the neck and behind the ears - do not get them into your eyes. If you want to know more then please contact me. Also, if you end up buying some oils then please use this link so that I get credit: www.youngliving.com/vo/#/signup/new-start?sponsorid=3868156&enrollerid=3868156&isocountrycode=US&culture=en-US&type=member

are these oils for consuming or how do you use them?
@aromatherapywithsteven65018 жыл бұрын
Hey Benjamin, there are two main ways to use them, either on your skin or inhaled. You can inhale them by misting them in the air with a diffuse. Here's a good collection w/ a diffuser at a DISCOUNT because it's a set: www.youngliving.com/vo/#/signup/new-start?sponsorid=3868156&enrollerid=3868156&isocountrycode=US&culture=en-US&type=member I like this brand because they are top of the line, pure, therapeutic, and you get points toward future purchases if you use their essential rewards program. When you put the oils directly on your skin you can do it undiluted(neat), or you can dilute the oils in a carrier oil (like almond or olive oil, in a drop to drop ratio). Put the oil on your neck, temples, behind the ears, behind the knees, on the feet, or on the pectoral muscles. Another way to inhale them is to put the oil on your palms and then cup your hands over your nose and mouth, breath in slowly because it is powerful. (do not get the oil in your eyes, but if you do, then wash the oil out with olive oil or coconut oil or some other carrier oil) Best wishes
@SeanWilliams908 жыл бұрын
Depends on the school of thought a person is schooled in, and even then only some are recommended for consumption. Typically, you inhale, apply to skin, or take orally. The first two ways are the most common. Consult a doctor and an aromatherapy and/or a quality essential oils book to learn to use them properly.

+bacon As long as these are being diffused, you should be fine with these. I really like this site: www.learningabouteos.com/ It has a lot about safety.
@savvysherri9 жыл бұрын
+bacon These are also children safe. You can diffuse or apply on the skin. If you apply on the skin, you will want to dilute and test a spot first. Caution on Ylang Ylang if you have children.
@ajeyaran19 жыл бұрын
+Sherri Martinez Thanks for the info! But why would you want to dilute oil before applying to skin first? Dr. Axe didn't mention anything about diluting.
@savvysherri9 жыл бұрын
he didn't mention it, but it is common method. Most of the oils he mentioned are safe without dilution, however, some people react differently to oils much like you would a perfume or medicine. It's always bet to test a small patch of skin first if you will be applying topically. You want to dilute with a carrier oil such as olive oil or coconut oil. The site I gave you has good info on that. If properly diluted you won't loose any effectiveness of the oil. If you are going to put the oil in a diffuser like he mentioned, you don't have to dilute at all.

Dr.Axe I've been using DoTerra it is breaking the bank I listen to your webinars often Love,Lavender & Vetiver, topical & difussers Cinamon bark & many other but want to know if I can use Now from health food stores are they comparable love using oil but ends up costly more than using prescriptions that insurance cover ! Now oils are they suitable ???
@essentiallyelizabeth59739 жыл бұрын
+Cheri Gaietto Now oils are not pure. That's why the side of the body says not to ingest and in some cases, not to apply to the skin. If you do, you could have serious reactions from the chemicals they add. If you could get your current oils paid for, would that be something you might be interested in?
@cherigaietto25159 жыл бұрын
+Essentially Elizabeth Elizabeth this Cheri thanks for responding Now oils say (pure) & girls at there store say they use topical & ingest this is confusing why does it say pure on Now Essential Oils ?
@vaguelyfunctioning9 жыл бұрын
+Cheri Gaietto There are no regulations in the world of essential oils, so ANY company can say their oils are "pure," even if there's only 5 drops of actual essential oil in the bottle. 😕 If that person is ingesting Now oils, she is not reading the label and is putting herself in danger. You wouldn't drink a Glade plug-in or rub it all over your skin! Even "organic" oils are only tested for pesticides, and not potency. Potency is just as important as purity. If the plant isn't harvested from where it grows naturally, in the proper soil and climate, you won't be getting all the benefits, plus the natural makeup of that oil is out of balance - meaning that you could have one constituent that's barely present, and way too much of another! Many oils today are not grown the right place, and the growers are being taken advantage of by middle men who are only paying them half of what was promised, meaning these families have nothing to live on until the next crop is ready for harvest. If the price of an oil is too good to be true, it was either sourced unethically, or is synthetic. Take Jasmine, one of the most adulturated essential oils. It take 30,000 petals to make 5ml of oil. 5ml of real Jasmine is worth over $200. Now sells 10ml for $7-9.
@vaguelyfunctioning9 жыл бұрын
+Cheri Gaietto Correction - Now's "Jasmine" is 30ml, not 10ml.

I will be the first to admit I am addicted to coffee to perk me up, but it appears people are inhaling essential oils to relax. (Just the opposite of caffeine) Are people becoming addicted to inhaling essential oils? Now we are going from diffusing to vaping essential oils. Why? Vaping EO's would be like the relaxing effects of nicotine in a cigarette. The common denominator is benzene compounds. Nicotine is a benzene compound. I can't help but wonder if the benzene compounds in EO's are addicting for their relaxing properties. I think I see chemical dependency happening.
@succulentqueen77373 жыл бұрын
It's a Myth: relaxing effects of nicotine in cigarettes. Nicotine is a chemical stimulant. Take your pulse rate then take 4 drags of a cigarette in quick succession & check your pulse rate. You will see an increase. Smokers think a cigarette will relax them, but really they're addicted to the nicotine and can not relax until they feed their hunger for another cigarette because of experiencing withdrawals. Yes, nonsmokers experience stress from everyday life, but smokers experience it even more and are more uptight, tense & irritable. Nicotine addiction is a vicious cycle. And I would encourage every smoker to stop smoking now.
