This is wonderful. I bought this game when it released but do to a series of terrible events that border on divine intervention, I was unable to play and did not have a windows 10 machine. Gaming was the last thing on my mind these past 4 or 5 years. Now that I have things under control, I am looking to build a new PC and I kinda want that OG experience as if I was a day one pirate. So safer seas will allow that. Allow me to do the terrible animal fetch quests, solve the stupid riddles, do tall tales like the gold hoarders without someone waiting to gank me at the base of the falls, sail with white sails, and be just a general newb while I putz around and learn the game at my own pace. It won't take me long to get gud. I love pirate theme games and I love this chunky clay artstyle. While it pained me greatly that I could not play all these years while handling all that life was throwing at me, I now get to play a polished pirate game (lol figuratively speaking compared to release). I used to be a big PVP nerd and would do rated BGs and arenas in WoW and made sure I was always number one on my team in any Battlefield game. However these days I just want to loot and horde glittery pixels and hear the digital ocean. I do not want to be the target of sweats looking to prove themselves or because they are bored. Besides the player PVP doesn't look much fun, like a terrible pirate themed fortnight. It needs to play more like AC4 Black Flag but I digress.

11:38 It was 50 K for gold because of Gold and Glory event. Without event is 25 K. (Gold and Glory is double).❤ Good to see new guides for more new Players.

I’m not seeing any guides recommending doing Athena’s? When I was playing back in 2019 we would drag new players along on Athena’s to get them going. Is this still worthwhile? I just got back into it with some brand new friends and trying to see how I can best help them progress

Sea of Thieves is a standout for having the worst character creation process of any modern game. And they charge money for it!! Unreal. Great video though, Mr. Phuzz. See you on the waves.

Imagine if the game allowed you to make a character exactly how you wanted, there would be absolutely no uniqueness between each player, this games character creation allows for every single pirate to look different. It’s a way better form of character creation.

If gold is your only takeaway, this game is not for you. It's about building your status and pirate reputation through titles and commendations. From Sailor to a Pirate Legend is more compelling than going from 1 to 1 million gold.

Safer seas players are often the biggest cry babies of the game. If its not easily spoon fed to them, They do tantrums.

Not everyone does 10+ hour sessions. PvE is great for those who live their lives. Sorry you can't steal noobs loot instead of finding it yourself, now. 🤷‍♂️
