I wish they never undated their website. The prices are not as competitive as they used to be and the website is snail slow and mostly shows out of stock items. Sometimes growth moves good companies backwards

I joined and canceled shortly after realizing that I couldn't find anything that I was actually looking for. And I was consistently finding bulk ammo at better prices elsewhere.

This is amazing, I thought I would hate the concept but I don't, it's amazing. Well done.

That's a good tip. One of the reasons I preferred an Aimpoint on my M4 patrol carbine, is because of the flip-off front cap- if I wanted to use the Bindon Aiming Concept, I just close the front cap.

Interesting, I would have thought since we want to focus on the target, that we would use our dominant eye for the target, not the dot. I am just in my first few days with a red dot. I have been dry firing at home, working on my index. It's horrible so far, but i was definitely using my dominant eye on the target.

Good stuff...I took a red dot class recently and we did occluded front shooting, but they didn't explain why or how it works.

Ive been trying to keep both eyes open shooting a scoped rifle. I see 2 sight pictures. Do you have thoughts on using this technique for that ?

I'm able to do this with my big dot sites.. both eyes open looking downrange and I superimpose that big ass dot into my target.. it works great!

It SHOULD work if you have both eyes open. If you are actually "ambidextrous eye dominant"....good luck to you. Although I'd imagine that even if your brain was deciding second by second which eye was dominant, you'd still have a dominant eye to work off of. Bottom line, just keep both eyes open because red dots are meant to be shot that way anyway.

Does the dot have to be zeroed first ? Before you tape it
@geekofsteal
@geekofsteal 9 ай бұрын
Yes, because when you use the red dot normally, it's position on the glass will either guide you to an accurate shot, OR make you shoot where you didn't intend to. So, if you zero your optic with the ammunition you either intend to practice with, or carry for your protection, covering the glass to occlude the sight will not change the location of the dot from where you last set it. In short, yes. The point of the occlusion is to force your brain to focus on only what is important, which is your target, and where the dot is. If the dot was miles off before you shot anything, it will be miles off when you try to use it occluded or not.

Do we really have to use the word occluded? 97% of the gun world has never heard the word. How bout just covered

But, 97% of the world has a computer in their pocket and when watching this video it's actually in their hand ✋️... and when you put all of that together, you can expand your vocabulary 😉

How about you quite pushing more items to purchase and instead ship the item that we purchased months ago. Been waiting over 5 months now same excuse warehouse is behind no eta 2 different orders. I am calling it BDU of old is no more. Today it is a scam they are taking money not shipping orders. I don’t believe they even have the products.
