Hi thank u so much for this video. I’m new to making oils so I have questions that may seem silly but…I thought that a percentage formula should add up to 100%? Yours add to 106% if u include the 6% of vitamin E in your recipe. Also if I replace the acai with Rosehip can I still use 7% like in your formula for the açaí? I saw in another comment that u advised the user to only use 1/2% of Rosehip & primrose. Was that because the commenter was “adding” those oil’s instead of replacing them? yes you may and due to cost and viscosity, I would suggest no more than ½% each. Love those oils so much!

Hello do you have to add any preservative?I made some oils with dried flowers and it looks somehow like there is a mold forming or some type of slimy stuff not sure

You need to make sure that your plant material is clean & completely dry. You can add Vitamin E to your oil - once you filtered out your herbs.

You could add ½% Vitamin E or Rosemary Extract to help, but MCT Oil’s shelf life is 2 years so as long as it’s kept away from direct sunlight and sources of heat you might not need to worry too much. I would also suggest storing it in an opaque or dark bottle to protect the product.

since it is an anhydrous (no water) product, you technically don’t have to add a preservative. Sadly at this time, we do not sell an oil soluble only preservative.

Great Recipe and good presentation I would sell this for $40 all my Essential Wholesale Products over the past 10 years have done very well with my clients! Shelf life is about 1 year on their products. You can always call the company with any information that is not on their site! I also love the fact they are such a green organization!
