I would love to see other wigmakers add a color like Chocolate Smoke to their offerings. It can be difficult to find a nice cool ashy brunette. As someone who is going grey gradually and seeks colors similar to my own straggly hair, I would snap this color up! Wish I could wear Estetica, but I need petites and this brand doesn't offer many. You bet! I agree this is a great transition color. Are you a true petite? The reason I ask is because I found this one to run a bit smaller than typical Estetica. Look at my measurements in the description and see how they compare to yours... I think someone a bit smaller than me could still wear this one pretty well.

@@heywigsister My head measures 20.5", with the other measurements well down into Child sizes according to the charts. I did try an Average JR wig; I tightened the adjusters but it was too big at the crown and in back to be comfortable. How does your Estetica compare to your JRs?

Absolutely beautiful!!! I was so intrigued by that beautiful color that I had to see what else they had for those of us who like the light colors. I fell in LOVE with the Lilac Haze! Ordered it immediately. Can’t wait to get it! I have Avalon in another color, so I know I like her, but I’m looking forward to the new color. What a beautiful wig in a beautiful color! It looks wonderful on you! That color looks very natural. I have never had any issues with your wallpaper but this angle seems to help to see the color of the wigs. Great job! I think Avalon is my favorite wig so far. I would buy another if I could but will have to wait awhile. Mine is a darker / ashy blonde.

Melissa- the biggest wildcard with color is what YOU are watching the video on.... and here is how I know this. I have 2 monitors at work. When I watch a video on one, and then switch it to the other monitor, the color is DRAMATICALLY different. Not just a little different, but dramatically. I have pretty much given up on really being able to tell color from a video. I do try to describe it as best I can knowing this, but sometimes words fail me, lol.

I could see the blue when you were inside, but having tried the color, maybe I know exactly what to look for. I think it really speaks to just how subtle the blue actually is, making it more of an every day color as opposed to a fashion color, which I think is a good thing! Love you in the Avalon, even though it's not auburn! I see the grey and ash tones in most med. browns like the Jamison. With the ring light I see the slight blue tones. And outside w/Jamison it was REALLY blue. I can't wear this kind of brown, I go with a #4 dark brown very well. Loving Avalon's style!

Oh wow Denise. I love this wig. It reminds me of my Belle Tress Columbia which I absolutely love. The color is gorgeous! You could really see the total debth of the color when you took it outside on Jamison. I have Jamison too and love that wig! I didn't know that either! It was a real eye opener. One of the articles I read said that most people are not aware and when you see people doing "international" giveaways that is a dead giveaway that they did not do their research. Enforcement is low and sporadic, but you never know when you will get caught. Kind of like speeding... a lot of people do it and never get caught, but ever now and then someone does. :)

I totally wish I could do that in this bathroom! I did buy one, but the room is so oddly shaped that there is literally no way for me to hang it up. That said, my husband is remodeling our main floor bathroom and the door will be WHITE- and the way it is set up I stand right in front of the door so hopefully that will be the ticket we are looking for!! :) I can't wait!

Thanks so much for your kindness on the background. I do wish you had used a white or some other color that isn't dark to show a dark wig. I would love to see that color better. Edit: Oh, waiting for the outside lol... I love the blue idea as I was born with Irish blue black hair.... nice way to same zero warmth. That color looks like it did when pigment started weakening. Of course on my way to gray actually. Another edit: Oh, yes, yes, yes... perfect for us gals who were black in early stages of gray or even for those still black who don't want that fake, flat, black wig color. That would even be good for us deep salt and pepper gals who could pull out their own grays around the front... so natural looking. Other lines make nearly white highlight in fron for salt and pepper but they have too much gray everywhere.. like 50% on most S&Ps. I'm definitely going for it if they have a style/size for me in that color.

Hi, Jennifer. I have tried using Downy and have to admit that I don't think it works that well... sometimes I think it makes the fibers feel crunchy even. My favorite product to use on a wig that feels dry is Belle Madame Balm/Balsam. The only place I know of to get it shipped to me here in the US is from Continental Wigs in the UK. I have bought from them many times and always had a great experience. Here is a link: continentalwigs.co.uk/belle-madame-accessories/1061-44309-synthetic-balm.html#/2258-size-200m Sometimes they have free shipping codes which makes it even better. You could try FABFREE or RUBINFREE to see if either of those are still active. Another product I like a lot (my 2nd favorite) is Estetica Conditioner- you can get a shampoo, conditioner and hairspray set here: amzn.to/2LDEWxR . If a wig is really bad, I have tried washing in shampoo (I'm not picky about the wig shampoo I use) and a little downy, and then rinsing and soaking in either of the above conditioners. I sure hope that helps!

Denise, as always, a great review,💕 I love Jamison...as far as the color, I really couldn't see the blue in it...it did look different outside though. I am not going to enter this giveaway as I struggle with longer hair and would really never wear her...I would rather she went to someone who really loves her and will wear her. I'm so conflicted! I've always been interested in Avalon, but I don't think I'll like the color so I don't know if I'll enter the giveaway or not! As far as the lighting - I don't know, I think it's always going to be hard because colors show up different on different monitors. I think it's fine just to do an inside and outside without bothering with the ring light.
